- Facts, this is as economic advantage, especially in the mid/late game.
- True, because they’ve nerfed Protoss upgrades a while back.
- Don’t forget widow mines, marines, liberators, heck even marauders.
- Yep. Not even mass carrier is safe from mass marine. The only advantage carriers have is the fact that they’re air units, and even then, marines can trade really well with the interceptors depending on numbers. You would think a FLEET SHIP could take down a T1 army, but that is apparently far from the case.
- Yep, it’s what the pros use to counter it. 2-3 tanks and there’s no way blink stalkers will get in.
- People say they’re scared of stalker mobility, but they forget that a marauder can stim and in some cases catch up to a stalker. Once the stalker is shot, it’s basically dead as the concussive grenade takes effect.
- 100/200 unit can disable up to 2 300/200 units. MIND YOU, it used to be F O U R and they only decided to nerf it because it hurt TVT not PVT. Totally no bias here.
- I would modify your statement to 8 marines and a medivac and include the fact that they can instantly destroy an entire mineral line while 5-6 zealots in a Terran’s mineral line cannot do nearly the same amount of damage.
- This is the key reason why adepts and oracles are hot garbage in PvT. That one extra hit makes them terrible harass units vs. SCVs, and makes them much weaker vs. marines. It’s difficult to balance though, because while I think SCVs should be 2 shot, I’m not sure it’s fair if a marine gets 2 shot in the early game. That’s about it though. They should be allowed to 2 shot in the mid/late game if the devs really want adepts to stay relevant that late into the game.
- This is certainly an advantage, but it’s probably a fair one. Protoss does have the ability to instantly recall (nerfed mind you, and sensor towers did receive a slight quality of life change), but if Terrans get caught off guard by a warp prism, things can get really dicey. Sensor towers give you those extra couple of seconds to get into position, but I wouldn’t say they’re a hard stop counter to runbys and harass. They certainly intimidate big pushes though.
