What is the SC2 Coop equivalent of guilds?

Hey guys! I was reading a gaming news post the other day about Stormgate (the new rts by old Bliz developers) and it mentioned that the SC2 community is still going strong. The author even highlighted the coop community. I’ve always loved the coop game mode but enjoyed it a lot more when I had a friend group to play with. Is there a SC2 Coop version of guilds? Some kind of group I can join that does Coop games and activities and maybe shares a chat channel? How do these groups coordinate and recruit? Here, Discord, In-game, Ventrilo (yes I’m old lol)?

I figure once I know how the system works then I can start looking for a group that is right for me as far as skill level, active time of day, and gameplay focus.

There is a huge coop discord community.

The in-game community/clans are fairly quiet/dead mostly due to people using the discord server to talk, organize, lfg, etc.

There’s likely more larger servers than just that. However, a lot of the coop veterans, speed runners and solo runners hang out in the one I linked above.

There’s also a Coop forum here. It’s not all that good for finding groups, but you can keep up on the coop conversations and such if interested.
