What do you think about the coop future?

It’s been four years since the legacy of the void was released. In the meantime, 10 commanders and 9 maps were released except Mengsk.

I don’t know when, but what the master levels and mutations added was an innovation. Is there a second innovation in the future?

In addition, it will not know how many new commanders, and new maps will be added

How many new commanders in each races will be available in the future?

Hard to say. With so little resources and attention focused on Starcraft compared to other series, we are basically lucky that we have gotten what we have for Coop Missions thus far.

In fact, it’s a testament to how fun and well-received the mode is that they’ve continued to add a little to it now and then with content a couple times every year. As long as it continues to be popular, we can hope the trickle of content continues.

At least the commanders continue to be really neat and creative, in my opinion. The Artifact Hunt, Stettilites, and now the Royal Guard leveling and Trooper weapon salvage were and are still really cool ideas to me.

I use to hope Ascension and Bounties would give us cool stuff… use to… Now I just wait for any revamp and binge on new commander as they release.

Winter made a video about the Community Summit at Blizzcon, which includes comments on co-op: The Future of StarCraft 2 In 2020 (ft. 2019 Recap) - YouTube

I feel like all they can do now is pretty much just Selendis, Hanson, and Tosh since they’re the only ones I think that could be unique and that also have a hi res character model for the co-op commander select screen, but ive been wrong before they could also give us a commander completely out of left field like the two we got this year.

Without new maps there’s no future of coop

i would love to see some multi-layered scenario gameplay.
like an intro before you start and make some decisions based on map and your ally commander.
say like you are raynor your map is rifts korhal and your ally is zagara.
before you enter the battleground you and your ally see a cinematic based which map is and what commander you and your ally is , then you see a command console to change your powersets based on these informations and communication with your ally and then enter the battleground.
and maybe some multi-layer maps that when you finish one of the objectives you move to another map and do something there.
maybe 3-4-5 commander maps instead of just 2.
i don’t know man these are too much work and i don’t believe that blizzard would do these works.
they are going to sell us dead guys instead of doing some real work.

What you described sounds like a “mini-campaign”. Does sound like a lot of work, which they probably wouldn’t be able to get that much money off of.

I prefer to get new Missions, but with 15 of them, we still got decent variety (I will acknowledge that I don’t play the mode to death like some folks have)

not much , 12 characters cause BS system.
