Him and Rifkin are essentially the same, except Rifkin hasn’t been 50th percentile or > at anything before. I don’t get why they try to act like they’re at odds or one is better than the other. They should just become a casting duo that talks s on everyone and bans everyone for made up reasons and other stupid stuff.
Could be the dumbest casting duo of all-time. It would increase viewership for sure. Avilo should probably take notes, actually, since he’s probably better all-around than Rifkin, yet… one of them is still on all social media and twitch. Guess too late now.

Rifkin curses a lot and often gives TMI.
Avilo was directly toxic. He used slurs, insulted other players, disregarded people’s achievements, and harassed people both online and irl.
Not even close to the same.

I’m still in disbelief over this Rifkin guy. I’m playing in the remastered tournament he is running. I’m up 1-0 on my opponent. T vs Z. My opponent attacks into me, and I kill his entire army, while losing nothing. My opponent leaves without a GG.
It looked like your typical “rage leave.” There was absolutely no reason not to leave. The game was over. I’m just sitting there, waiting to play my next opponent in the semi finals. My prior opponent then demands a rematch because he said “his game crashed.”
Game crashes, at that point in Remastered, weren’t even a thing… And even if it were, he was still micro’ing his units. The game just coincidentally happened to “crash” after he lost. You know how you “crash a game,” you control + alt + delete… Seriously.
It was so obvious this guy was just abusing the fact that Rifkin is an incompetent, know nothing child. So, I was given the option of either giving this guy a rematch or forfeiting the tournament/series. I was forced to forfeit due to how obscene/unfair the alternative was.
I’m just like it’s “Rifkin being Rifkin” to myself. I just leave, having said nothing bad about Rifkin or anything of the sort. Tune into stream and he’s just talking about how he little he cares. He just wants the tournament to end. Then, after the tournament, he’s s talking me on reddit, talking about how dumb I am, and as if I’m the one who tried to cheat or something. Like, he’s mad at me???!
This guy just doesn’t “get” anything. I was watching him cast a P vs T on a map that had been in the map pool for years. One of the most played maps, where EVERYONE made a pylon to prevent the reaper from getting in. I kid you not, the guy spent the entire game just talking about how weird the pylon placement was, and for the life of him, he couldn’t figure it out.
Avilo and Rifkin are a match made in heaven. They both have the same mental disease, w/e it is. It’s like Rifkin was just hating on this Grant guy, and then saying he wasn’t hating on him. One second him and Wardi hate each other. Next second they’re best buddies. Psycho.
Average joe, at best… whose only stand out ability is getting attention via saying dumb things. I can’t imagine a single thing those two could hate on each other for, without being hypocritical.

Be real, if rifkin were like avilo then zombiegrub leaving basetrade full time would have been the messiest drama in sc2 history.
Does anyone know why he got banned from twitter, if there was a specific recent resson or if it is his tainted reputation catching up to him?

I’ll never forget the tournament he held where they caught a hacker, and because rifkin " was behind scehdule " he wouldn’t give a re-game to the player who got knocked out of the tournament.
he later went on to say it was justified because " he wasn’t a good enough player to win the tournament anyway "

If Rifkin weren’t as obese or a man child (anime, etc), then it probably would have been. It’s like giving a broke guy credit for not abusing his non existent power. No one is stalking random girl streamers more than Rifkin.
Like who even knew who Atira was before this drama? Yet, I hear part of the drama was over what Avilo did to Rifkin in Atira’s channel. Rifkin is seriously the biggest D word/most toxic guy in the scene. He’s like the maphacker of the casting world.
Could you imagine Rifkin giving you grief? Which is what he did to Avilo after the ordeal. This guy has tried to screw over so many players, and he never cares, yet he’s such a great guy, in his mind. He rarely even talks about SC 2, because what does he know about SC 2? Guy is just there for the money and complains when not enough of it is there.
This guy should be a role model for us all, because… really… what is rifkin good at? Yet, he basically has a monopoly on casting a game he knows jack about. It’s pretty embarrassing. It’s not like he’s funny… It’s not like he’s insightful…

Yea, in a previous thread (6-7 months ago) i asked why this scumbag is casting while his unit-knowledge (unit-comp is quite another dimension) is frankly pathetic (He had no knowledge of how Interceptors has a Carrier and with how many of them is released from Stargate…).
A MyOh for all his failures is 100 times more suitable for that role (he knows the unit-stats better than MoronTeam).
An infantile aggressive loud-putty-mouth mass of lard is as toxic as Avilo, just more disgusting physically!

It’s really impressive, to be honest. His business motto the whole time has basically been prided on how unprofessional he is… I’m surprised someone hasn’t tried to beat him up at an event yet. Must run too many events to make it worth it.
Have you ever heard of another business that takes pride in how unprofessional they are? Only in SC 2 man. Not even to be found in Idiocracy, probably.
Both of those guys are broken records. One guy is getting stream sniped and his girl done messed up. Other guy, making up reasons to ban people from tournaments, hating on his friends casting… while “totally not hating,” and trying to find the next random girl streamer to “white knight for.”
This guy basically made feardragon quit casting. It’s like it’s one thing to be a d word man, but to call these people your friends and what not? Anyone who is friends with Rifkin is an idiot. Period.

I agree with playa. It just seems like most of the good role models have mostly either quit the game or passed away. And we are left with guys like avilo who are just terribly toxic and conceited. If people genuinely look up to guys like avilo its just going to make the community and game even less fun. It sucks that Blizzard doesnt get involved more to ban people like him.
