Warchest extension not working on Twitch

I just bought the Blizzcon warchest 2019, I linked my bnet account with Twitch, added Warchest extension but I keep getting announcement saying the event has ended. Any help with that?

I’m also getting the same error message.
I’ve followed: Can’t post links :frowning: the FAQ thing I got from twitter. And the one posted on the Warchest: Blizzcon 2019 news section page.
Neither seemed to help.
I’ve tried relogging into twitch. Re-linking my bnet/warchest things from twitch.
I’ve tried firefox and chrome browsers. I’ve tried the twitch app on tablet and android phone.
And all give me the same message. ''War chest event ended. This war chest event period has come to an end.

I got this to work - I purchased the warchest in the NA store, but I’m currently in KR - I had to VPN into a US IP in order for Twitch to recognize my warchest. Nerf localization!

I am also having the same issue with ā€œWar Chest Event Endedā€

I believe I had signed up with the extension the last time the event was going on…but after it had actually ended already.

It does not seem to have reset properly for the new event though.

I bought the Warchest ingame when logged into an EU account (I’m in EU), but getting ā€œWar Chest Event Endedā€ after linking my account with Twitch.

After trying to VPN into an NA IP, it seems Twitch recognizes my warchest and I seem to be able to collect xp.

I hope they will fix that for EU soon.

Dang, My account is NA, and I’m getting the ā€˜War Chest Event Ended’ issue as well.
So looks like they need to fix both regions :frowning:

Same for me in EU region. I bought warchest about 20 minutes after it went live and I was already watching some SC2 on Twitch at that time. Since then I’ve been getting ā€œWar chest event has endedā€ on every channel, that had enabled extension. I tried clearing cache for Twitch and relinking extension - no change.

Same here, it keeps telling me that this WarChest even has ended, clearly a bug from Blizzard or Twitch

I spoke with Blizzard support, and according to them it’s an issue with the Twitch extension feeding in the wrong region into their systems. So Twitch needs to fix it most likely…which hopefully they do soon.

Can also confirm watching through an American VPN is a temporary work around…not ideal though.

Additional info: Twitch whitelisted in uBlock Origin, cleared cache for Twitch, relinked War Chest extension to my Twitch account.
