I just got done playing void thrashing brutal as zagara with H&H ally. We killed the last void thrasher and did not get the ‘Mission Success’ prompt until about 1 min 30s later. After getting the ‘Mission Success’ prompt, the camera moved all the way southwest to Seargent Hammer’s base and then stayed there without giving us the Score Screen prompt. I had to exit the game via alt+f4 as no other options worked for exiting. I had waited for around 6 minutes before giving up to alt+f4. The mission was considered to be a loss and so I didn’t get the full experience.
Did you see anything unusual in the replay?
The last void thrasher was being attacked by a lot of things which included strike fighter bombs, scourge and other stuff. I dunno if the strike fighter bombs or scourge could have triggered the bug.
I never got a defeat on this map, but if the camera moved to Hammer base, I would expect that it would happen when the base got destroyed.
Confirming the amount of HP left may be useful.
Hammer’s base had 3624/4000 at the time of killing the last void thrasher and it did not lower any after that.
I tried to check the triggers in the map editor.
In Cooperative Mission/Gameplay/Scripted Events - LinkedThrashers/Void Thrasher Rumble Editor, we can find the VoidThrashers.Killcount variable increase.
Something suspicious there is that there is a condition, a bit before, that create a Void Thrasher.
In Cooperative Mission/Gameplay/Victory - Defeat/Victory - Kill Void Thrashers Completed, there is a VoidThrashers.Killcount == c_ThrasherCountTotal test.
The c_ThrasherCountTotal is a constant set to 10.
What I suspect is that you may somehow have killed twice the same Thrasher, thus having 11 kills (or more), and thus failing the victory test.
That would not explain the camera move though, must wait for devs reaction.
I just encountered the same problem. My sound glitched out when my Nova died right as a void thrasher died and the Adjutant commented on it. The Adjutant portrait was stuck on the screen throughout the mission and my volume lowered to about 20%. All other notifications and dialogue no longer played, and when we killed the last thrasher the game would not go to victory screen, forcing me to Alt+F4. Because I had to terminate the program, the replay did not save.
