because I enjoy a challenge and reaching for a high skill ceiling.
the number of people who bemoan the state of the game from years gone by, and have built up animosities towards other posters for previous transgressions from the years, is actually one of the most surprising things to me, as someone who has only been coming here for less than a year.
i lolled. I also have trouble (not that I can’t do it, because I can and do) taking some thing seriously, like the opinions of people who defended bilzzard’s Blitzchung debacle, on the grounds that
just demonstrates how absolutely obtuse some people are. Whatever. Since I can’t take it seriously, I had to laugh.
Seriously, in any given thread that Batz posts in, what are the chances that someone will show up and accuse him of something that hasn’t happened in that thread, or, bring up something that happened years ago?

To his credit, I am Anesthetic, and this is just my alt account (Shonix) renamed, but this was never a secret and I have never denied it if asked upfront lol.
TBH i think some of the mental gymnastics might be due to the fact that both Nomuff and I have a graduate education in statistics, so its probably easier to think that we’re both lying and the same person instead of accepting that he might actually be wrong.

I’m not sure, I had multiple regions on this account with different names, and ever since they merged accounts from different regions my name has been this one (which was my name on my EU account before), this might also be due to that fact?
No. Batz is just paranoid, it’s a pattern.

He did manage to identify cheezecake, apparently, but that doesnt mean he didnt falsely accuse another half dozen or so people, myself included, of being the same person all out to get him.
Also, im still waiting for an explanation for why anybody plays zerg if its that much harder to win with it.

I don’t think he managed to identify me, I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned my main account sometime in the past.
The only thing I find strange is that another poster (stretch) somehow recognized who I was when i mentioned my education, when I’ve only mentioned it once in the past in an *discussion* with Tehbatz.
Im pretty sure we both live in the US, so its not that weird. Lotta people operate on the same time schedule.

I dont really care why you play zerg. You arent getting paid based on your results. The pros are.

Don’t back pedal. You obviously value your linguistic abilities, which is why you seem so keen on talking down to anybody who disagrees with you, and which is exactly what you’re doing to me, even though you cry about online bullying when it suits you. You said, and I quoted, anybody. Not any pro, which would have been just as easy if not more so to say.
I have given you my reason, and if you actually cared, I’m sure you could find the reasons why anybody at the top tier of an activity would bother to pursue something once it becomes ceases to be easy.
You might not empathize with it since youre a keyboard warrior 
but you would at least have a reason that you could then dismiss from someone you consider important.

Context is a thing. Please endeavor to understand it the next time you feel the need to butt in on an argument.
For example, this is Batz’s argument, not mine, which you would know if you had been reading all the posts. The whole point is that it falls apart under scrutiny, thats why i turned around and asked him why it doesnt apply to zerg now. Its also why your reasons for picking one race over the other matter not at all: you arent a pro, you arent being paid to play the game, and your ability to eat and live does not depend in part on you getting results.
