During a multiplayer match I accidentally hotkeyed one of my queens to my hatchery hotkey group. The error occured when I tried to deselect the queen from the command card from the hatchery control croup. I was holding shift and and left clicking properly and the queen would not disappear or be deselected from the command card. I eventually reselected the control group and used shift click on the queen icon and the queen was removed from the control group.
I know this sounds like a hardware issue on my end but I promise this isn’t the first time this has happened and my shift key, keyboard, and mouse in general are working properly.
There is a small chance I’ve been holding caps lock while clicking on the queen but I highly doubt it.
It’s hard to predict when this occurs but it never happens when clicking on the queen unit, only when shift-clicking the queen icon in the command card in the center of the screen.
