Valorous Inspirator not applying to Artanis's pre-level 3 zealots

Before level 3, Artanis’s zealots use the default zealot skin rather than the Solarite Reaper Aiur zealot one (when they unlock Whirlwind). But it seems when Valorous Inspirer is active they also aren’t counted as part if it, most notably they don’t receive the mineral upcost, 100 minerals rather than 130.

Not sure if they even have the combat effect before whirlwind (if charge is impacted), but it’s notable in the cost.

To add to this:

Zagara’s normal Zerglings do not benefit from Scourge Queen’s extra Zergling benefit.

Abathur’s normal Roaches do not get more armor from Biomass.

Karax’s normal Carriers do not benefit from his cheaper unit prestige.

All the normal units that get upgraded into other units later do not gain benefits specific to them that were patched in after release.
