User interface (UI) needs improvement

For starters, use metric when designing the rows of selected SC2 units. The rows are divided into eight. This ought to be 10 for simply multiplication. And put an extra tab beside the numbered tabs that shows the total number of each unit type.

I also recommend stripped units rather than solid colours (Yes, I’m Canadian, I put a “u”). I’m not a fan of green units on green coloured backgrounds - the marine especially blends into green coloured landscape. With this option solid colours matching the map texture’s colour can be removed as an option in the lobby. My perspective is that it is also a design flaw to have a team colour matching the map colour as that person would have an advantage if there units/buildings are not prominently shown on the map.

Can we skip ahead of SC2 replays like a youtube video please?

Oh one other thing. When building walls (like in custom games) it would be easier to click and draw a line, rather than have to place each individual wall.

Also, what about making the arcade under custom games the default tab? how many players are going directly to lobbies vs custom games? For me it seems like an insistent delay to constantly press arcade each time.

And the lobby button! how many people are going into a private lobby vs a public one! The gold button - the most prominant one - takes a person into a private lobby! I don’t automatically go into a private lobby when I’m on startcraft! Sheesh. first i’d have to to do is get friends, and that would be a whole thing in of itself.

And maybe an option to permanently switch to “all” chat. I think it would also be nice to have a post game chat to discuss how the game went, strategies, ect. And I think it is odd that winners can stay in the game afterwards but losers cannot, they must exit.

and what about a red colour scheme for nightvision players.

and what about a warning before booting players that are ‘afk’? I’ve been booted because I didn’t move my mouse even though I was not afk.

An essential feature that I believe has a chance of being implemented: a flashing indicator for minerals, vespane, and supply, to indicated to players their macro is starting to slack. This could potentially be customizable to player level so that it would flash at 200 minerals, or 400 minerals, or whatever the player wants. Another feature I would suggest is a right click que for making units when resources are available.
