that’s literally it… Look at the top protoss players… They aren’t even CLOSE to Maru, innovation an TY, which can all argue to be the BEST protoss players of ALL TIME. These players have razor sharp micro, perfect macro and insane game knowledge and sense. Meanwhile, top protoss are parting (one trick aggro player), stats (just turtle and build deathball) and Zest (extremely inconsistant, can basically not practice for a month and still win a tournament). If a really good player started playing protoss, they would win everything. Also, you missed several important tournaments, protoss is winning everything right now. Just look at the qualifications stats for every tournament… What more do you want? PvP finals??
Yes. It’s truth. I’m not good as my Terran friends about whining. I think Starcraft 2 is fun so I play it. It’s not about money. I can choose other Blizzard games when it become boring. And my favourite designers still receives my payment.
Honestly protoss needs both nerfs and buffs! They should balance each matchup individually. Because if you buff Protoss TvP will be even more broken. But if you nerf him, PvZ will be unplayable…
Not really. I hope he crushes Serral, but people who are above plat and understand sc2, can see that trap won vs Reynor because he had specific builds , now he has none and standard pvz is not possible to win for protoss

How about 1 single tournament win? No Protoss player is winning anything. Like I seriously cannot understand you guys. If the situations were reversed and Terran was in the same position Protoss is in right now all you Terran players would be rioting.
Protoss is not over powered in the slightest. If they were then WHERE ARE THE TOURNAMENT WINS? You cannot be op and at the same time win NOTHING. It makes zero sense.

Turns out when you are low level and cannot understand sc2 you feel as if you figured it out. But what is happening is that Trap did 3 Specific builds, which were timings /rushes. Once that failed to do tremendous dmg and game dragged more then mid game protoss lost. Trap was trying to keep the drone count in check which he did. PvZ is unwinnable if both races play standard. And as Trap The Pro player said himself, he hopes that Cure will go in the finals, because he has no more specific builds vs zerg. But when you are LOW level and speak as if you just won gsl , you can’t realize what happened. Trap did a tremendous amount of pressure to keep drone count low + Reynors horrible gameplay, losing 7 drones two 2 adepts which he saw coming. L2p and stop talking as if you understand sc2 ,cuz you clearly do not.
It is not the fact that he has BUILDS, it is the fact that you MUST have specific builds because in a standard pvz , zerg wins in lategame. Even serral said, if games are normal i win. Protoss cannot win a normal pvz because zerg is broken in lategame.
Lol. Ok. I get it. Across the spectrum and across time and all regions, zerg players are always better than protoss players. Whether its an EU only tournament or korea only tournament or whatever, for some reason which is completely unrelated to balance the best players gravitate towards zerg. I get it.
If there was a gladiator fight where all the winners were picking guns and all the losers were picking knives, I guess you’d be arguing that guns and knives are balanced/equal overall and all the gun users are just better fighters. Reasonable people of course would disagree.
PVZ is unwinnable if they both just try and macro up.
Even more so, PVZ is unwinnable the longer the series because protoss has to win with strategic timing/harass and there are only so many that are viable. In a best of 7 by game 3 you’re repeating the same strats and its easier and easier to hold.
If Astrea, Has and Neeb lose in their respective regions then I am all aboard the Protoss UP train. They’ve nerfed everything Protoss struggled against Zerg since 2019. Now we just need more tournaments.

How am I trolling?? Protoss has 55% winrate… tournaments are small sample size, stop cherry picking. Overall protoss has insane winrate vs Terran but can’t win tournaments because top protoss players are significantly worse than top terrans.
