He played casually and made me believe first that we are on the same bar so its easy gg. I didnt make any observers. Oh how wrong I was.

Units that he used to beat me was zealot, a couple lazy stalker… and you know what?

Well my army was ofc full easy mode skytoss. I went 6-8 carrier, 4 void rays, and had even some tempest to easy defeat cannon battery.

So I went to beat his base and was like, strange how easy this is…

And then he send couple zealots casually to make some damage to my main meanwhile i annihilated his main base.

He had only second base and some hidden bases left but what I wasnt prepared when I recalled my units to defend my base was that he had actually 3 dark templars.

I wasnt able to kill dark templar even my army was 10 times better so I decided to finish his base before mine and even hide 2 nexus around map.

But it wasnt enought, he had 2 hide bases around map too… so meanwhile I search them he just killed my everything with 3 dark templars like he was god of starcraft universe…

Oh my goosh this game. I am now admitting that I am noob and I am totally annihilated. I cant motivate myself or make myself believe i can ever be gold league player. I admit here on public (in front of the world) that I am not good rts player and never going to be. (despite sacrifice 20 000 hours into rts games and 10 000hours into fps games).

edit. (I was never able to beat his confidense, I was never able to make him feel like I was worthy opponent, and it amazed me)

maybe just make upgrades and scout?

How do you have over 100 posts and still not understand basics?

First use 1-2 Sentries so patrol the map (with hallucinations) so you can have some information of what your opponent is doing and if he has hidden Nexi and where.

Didnt you see that I used zealots to scout the whole map. Around 8:4 minutes

He was only able to fool with me because he was gosu player and everything he made was pixel accurate.

No, but you mentioned that he had some “hidden” bases around the map in two occasions. Scouting with zealots is inferior (and more expensive) than with Hallucinations in mid-late-game.

Watch replay provided please before commenting. Its really hard to go fast skytoss and he was constantly pushin me.

In the end I was so sure I was going to win but with inhuman skills he was able to pull scout in the right direction to see my last nexus… Everything he did was inhuman and pixel perfect. There is no way I am never going to beat him. No training is ever going to make me recover this defeat.

Nothing to coment. Silver-League game.
I like the part when he drops you 3-4 Zealots and you fight them with Voids. The PA-Activation against…Zelots was priceless.
It’s enough for everything in between and after…
Mass Carriers out of 1.5 bases without a shred of SD (that would have even taken care of his 2 DT) is what doomed you.
If you hate Observers, at least you could have produced an Oracle.
I know scouting and map-awareness in Silver League is too much to ask.

Don’t be surpriced, i am a Top 6 GM Terran (In Korea) and off-race as Protoss. One of the main lesson for my protoss students (Bronze and below) is that PA on Void is used exclusively on Armored units such as Stalkers, Immortals etc.
Against light or simply non-armored units such as Zealots, Adepts, Phoenixes that is the maximum of stupidity. It simply slows the VR down (without giving any advantage) and you lose the PA ability for some time (there is a cooldown) when you will really need it…
