Maegis? I just recently had some internet stalker compile a thread of “evidence” wherein he accused me of hacking in WCS. No joke. And I’ve got dozens of these examples.
Blacking out the exact duration of the match makes it so you can’t search the match history using a program. You have to do it manually. So it goes from taking 30 seconds to taking 3 hours (or more). “I can’t imagine how this information could be used against me” IS NOT proof that it can’t be.
The fact of the matter is that you can’t possibly know all of your opponents, nor can you possibly imagine all the ways in which you can be exploited. BUT all exploits require information so you must limit all non trusted sources to only essential information. This is true in all realms of strategy. Releasing information is ALWAYS a risk so you have to gauge what information is necessary and if the risk of releasing it is worth the reward. None of this is essential information by the way, so you’re lucky I’m explaining this to you.
Putting it into SC2 terms you can send in an observer but in doing so you reveal you have a robo. And that’s information your opponent can exploit. So you want to skirt around the opponent as much as possible to avoid being detected and minimize the risk of revealing that you’ve gone robo.

I never did. Two people have played on accounts named Tehbatz in the qualifiers for WCS. One was a streamer who was caught hacking on his livestream.

Side note: It’s a similar hack I suspect another streamer uses. He lifted his CC and abandoned the natural at the sight of a couple lings. Then he denied that he did it on his stream and said he abandoned the natural after he saw banelings. There is a 99% chance he is a hacker.
Anyway this hacker was mistaken for me since he used an account named tehbatz in the qualifiers of WCS. So this random clown comes out of the woodwork having done tons of internet stalking to accuse me of having hacked in WCS.

The real funny thing is recalling all the burned energy he’s gone through being ABSOLUTELY convinced about some kind of grand conspiracy that we all got together to snipe him or whatever lol. Which is hilarious because the sc2 Maegis core of me, Slitaz, and Moonrise, all mained EU server not NA. I only played him twice on NA that I know and we split 1-1. I can’t speak for the others, but they all had great ZvZ so they probably rekt him. Another matter he was always confused on that he never knew the truth of is > Jakamakala was long gone and wasn’t even apart of our group when he did his whole tangent trolling tehbatz. He was apart of Maegis for literally 2 months in 2014 and we abruptly kicked him one day because he was raging on someone being racist and screaming the N word in our Mumble server LOL. Funny guy but an a**hole too.
For someone that demonstrates a high aptitude for scientific thinking and semantic details he was for sure pretty mixed up about what groups of people associated with who and which ones were after him. I think what happened is he just got so paranoid he lost track and started having delusions LOL.
