Leaving aside the fact that parting commited a lot of big mistakes, I know the reason of those mistakes that he would never do in a tournament.
I’m going to the point, Parting was TIRED!, he was playing sc 8-10hrs before his gsl match. Even in his stream I noticed how bad he was performing on ladder, like if he weren’t sleept well last night, he Lost againts FORGG, actually 5.4kmmr vs an standard 2bases push, Parting noticed how bad his apm was, he told us that. And this is really weird in a guy that has probably one of the most savage micro and apm multitasking. He wasn´t in form, srly, probably It was just the stress of gsl, the anciety or the overwork/overtraining in the past days. Probably some of you could say that It’s main mistake was not practicing pure pvt before gsl, but as far as we’ve seen, basic mistakes were made and they were so basic that only reason I found for this is Mental Fatigue, and yes we know Parting is a high performance player but you should realice that he still human.
the fact that he made it to ro4 with 1 build is ridiculous anyway. he got exposed by a way more advanced player.
idk why we should assume he would be in form, he a streamer who just unretired or whatever.

im just saying, considering his utter lack of creativity to gain an edge and painfully predictable style (1build), he overperformed. ro4 after 3 years off is amazing. credit.
