Just because you played Terran at your bronze-gold level does not mean you have the experience to talk about terran mechanics in higher leagues. Actually in diamonds seconds matter. Imagine playing terran bio vs protoss and pressing stim ONE SECOND too late - you get storm, disruptor in the face and GG. Thatâs why stim priority over ghosts is very important and i am more than certain that no protoss on Earth would complain about that if it was implemented - it wonât affect TvP at all in terms of balance (only change mechanics)

A buff is not only the increase of HP, Speed and DPS.
That is a buff that affects more the lower leagues, but a buff remains nontheless.

I think some QoL changes are buffs, and others are not.

As much as I absolutely hate âfact checkersâ like politifact, they are absolutely necessary to keep troglodytes from spewing absolute garbage all over the internet. In fact, there should be a fact checking service that all internet forums must funnel into. To have your post approved, your post must be sent in and fact checked first after which it is allowed to be displayed. If too many posts of yours are flagged, you are permanently banned from public discourse pending a full review from a panel of judges who can decide your fate which you pay for out of pocket. This system should extend to the SMS and email systems, too.

Imho,
revert to broodwar Zâs Air and queen production:
- buff Ultras armor, damage, add splash damage (and fix the derp/ walk over lings n banes)
- buff broodlords speed or armor
- buff mutas range. Change Broodlord from mutas instead of corruptors.
- Change corruptors from larva to muta and broodlords to mutate from mutas and adjust morph cost/time accordingly.
- Nerf Queen to morph from larva like everything else and no queues like T or P. (corruptors from mutas will make space for larva into queen)
- Slight nerf queen attack, buff hydras base speed and health
- scrap swarm host, replace with scourge
- +1 armor to all Z units while burrowed
- nerf Ghost snipe, buff nuke
- nerf emp
- nerf tempest range and increase cost
- nerf shield battery range
- nerf void ray cost and speed
I try to play for fun, but current meta I gave up zerg. If Iâm playing against zerg I use easy skytoss; everything else I use turtle terran with widow mine, to quick battlecruisers and emp.

I could only accept a 75 cost instead of 50, no other form of nerf is needed for Snipe.
I would not mind if they removed the extra EMP range upgrade, I think it is not so needed, you can spam EMP without it and result will be the same.
Some here post that this extra EMP range destroys protoss and makes them even WEAK wwoooww
Tempest is meant to be long range, im not sure if that unit needs nerf right now

Then I realize there IS a solution to âFIXâ the balance between races: only allow the matchmaking (and the ârandom raceâ picker) to match identical races.
The issue of any unbalance between races would be effectively fixed with that.

So let me explain it to you. If you prioritize stim over ghosts, this will mean that terrans will simply die LESS FREQUENTLY to storms, novas etc. because terran player will have fewer keys to press. What does it have to do with balance ? Does it mean that all of a sudden marines will run faster ??? Or novas will run slower ? No. The entire interaction remains untouched. Only mechanics are changed, so yes technically you can call it âmechanical buffâ but still it does not affect balance at all (because unit interactions remain the same).
So, letâs assume that in the current patch the TvP is 50%. If your changes come to pass more terrans will win than before. The change will bring TvP in 55%, and you think that those mechanical changes does not affect balance?
Whatâs wrong with letting users (Terrans, Zerg and Protoss) customize the spell priorities of their units as they like?
Personally i would like the Sentry abilities with higher priority than Mothership, Templar and Disruptor, but i can do nothing against thatâŚ

Making the SCV unkillable while building is a buff. Just imagine the bunker rush juking. Start building a building to save the scvs life, have another scv repair the bunker, when that scv almost dies build a building with him, cancel the other scv building and then have him repair.
Anywho. Itâs very obvious that making the scv unkillable while building is a direct buff to all terran matchups. Iâve seen plenty of Scvâs get killed while building. Itâs part of the way they build. Itâs logical and part of their build cycle if you changed this and made them go into the building like orcs in warcraft 3 it would be a balance change not a mechanical change like you say.
Besides, it makes no sense at all. How could the SCV go âinsideâ a building that isnât even completed yet and has no walls to go inside of.

I am kind of nervous it looks like from the back and forth here that the devs are mia? did they all leave with DKim? I have just recently returned to SC2, so Iâm really out of it.
Anyway, I have some suggestions, not only about balance and map changes, but even other areas of the game like adding new cosmetics and stuff Iâd like to give them feedback onâŚbut no idea if the team is currently broken upâŚ

I believe they contracted SC2 to a company that specializes in maintaining long-term games, aka retired games. Itâs the same one that manages all their legacy games.
I feel what your saying. What I have is,
-Increase thor speed
-Reduce thor 3d size and make goliath out of it (usable)
-vikings can attack ground
-replace reaper with another unit which is usable through out the game instead of early game scout
-marines and other units can move the same as normal under fungal growth
