Your Medivac can heal ally Zerg units or some Protoss Gateway units. Your SCV can Repair Protoss units. Your Queen can Heal Biological unit of your ally Protoss and Terran. You can mine Gas from your ally Gas Geysir, Terran can use ally Addons… but you cannot build structures on ally creep??? Really Lizzard? Really??? Still? In 2020 after Corona?

In Coop yeah. How cant they fix it? Will it be OP?
In coop, it’s not just allies but everyone can build on creep.
In melee, only Zerg can build on creep, regardless of team. To disable that feature would mean all can build on creep.
And? Where is the problem to separate team game from 1v1?
Yeah the argument used to be that creep doesn’t have an ownership/team concept, which is why an enemy zerg can build on creep; but CoOp kinda throws a wrench in that explanation. Imo, they should update it so that team games can be more zerg friendly. I’m not big on team games myself, but I don’t see why that should be such a big issue.
That being said, I didn’t write the engine. There may be a justified reason why they can’t do this, though I would be surprised.
Just ran into this problem yesterday. Basically zergs can’t spread creep at all in team games because it screws their opponent. Why this is still a thing is beyond me.
