Always been a 1v1 guy myself, wondering if there are any weird/cool strats that only work in team games like medivac ultralisk or fungal disruptor or something, or even just a really cool rush/timing attack. Basically anything that utilizes multiple races to do neat stuff.
Mass air or cannon rush
Yep, there are actually very specific team game builds that only work in teams. One of the most famous being the two stargate opener and going pure mass phoenix. Going 1-2 base DT is really powerful in 3v3/4v4 too. Mass reaper is one of the best cheese options out there. Mass BC can be devastating too. For Zerg, there’s really nothing fun. You are either cheesing with Zerglings, making nydus worm/swarm hosts, or countering whatever your opponents are doing. The list goes on. You should give it a go some time. You learn a lot playing team games, and what you learn can be used in 1v1 too.
