As title says. Terran is risking very expensive and hard to make ghosts already. Adding cost and long build time to nuke is clearly overkill.

No. But I do wonder how it would affect things if they were 50/50 or 75/75. I honestly donât think it would make a huge difference.
Nukes are already the largest radius, most powerful spell in the game, but they are also the only one you have to pay for every time you build it, and the only one which has a 15 second cast time. Furthermore, there the only one which can consume 100/100 without ever actually doing any damage.
Thatâs the equivalent of a protoss âhonestlyâ thinking that Disruptor CD from 21 to 15 sec wonât make a huge difference.
To use a more appropriate exam[ple Reaver Scarab to go from 5 mineral to 2-3 mineral.

It really isnt, because the time it takes to drop doesnât change at all.
The balancing of nukes isnt the cost - with the early game being the exception - its the time it takes to find where the nuke is landing. As I said, it takes 15 seconds to drop. And it still takes a factory to produce the nuke, and for every nuke you want to launch at the same time, you need an additional ghost academy.
So realistically speaking, it wouldnât make mich of a difference at all. Defending it doesnât change, and the strength of nukes doesnât get buffed. It just chews less into your bank.
Unlike reavers, you canât store multiple charges of nukes in one ghost academy. They also take a reasonable amount of time to produce, so you couldnt really fire them rapid-fire without multiple nuke silos, which gets expensive really quickly.
If anything, a nuke is the equivalent of a gigantic baneling.
Good idea! Just change âScanâ to âNukeâ. Itâs better. I think. Use terran base spell ânukeâ by energy rather than ghost.

Partially true. The balancing is mainly on the time it requires to land, but is not exclusively on that. Basically you are asking to reduce the amount (Nuke-cost) of commitment. A semi-intelligent terran knows already how to make Nukes work. I suspect that OP is just another Avilo account.
If we accept at face-value (I donât) the gigantic-baneling analogy, would you be equally enthusiastic of a hypothetical Stretch/Ace proposal to make Banelings free/cheaper?

But in co-op mission. It achieved. Oppoent has many many tactical nukes and all of them are free. And itâs really fun when I see my partner main force army get ruined by free nukeâŚ(snicker).
