I have been playing protoss a little more and stopped just short of where I was ranked with terran. why? well it got boring. Mentally I probably didnt want to see toss ranked higher than my terran which is another possibilitiy. I may not be ready for that just yet
I cannon rush or proxy every single game. no need to do anything different. I even do this against zerg because why not. I’ve lost most of the games that did not work and it turned into a regular game. But that is more so do to my inexperience playing with toss than anything else. toss is a boring race to play with yet easy and a broken race to play against. I litteritly suck with toss and If keep playing I will exceed what I ever did with terran and then some.
the thing is that its nor really about the rank. I just want to enjoy playing the game. I used to play a lot of team games. However, no one really plays team games. well not since hots. The arcarde games can be fun when you can get one. So I am stuck playing 1v1 games. The only thing that is worth doing is some build that is not regular and seeing if you can win with it. Something like what Beasty does I used to critizse them a lot for what they do but now I understand.
I think I may start losing a ton of MMR and then doing a random build to get back to my level and doing it all over again. Thats the only enjoyment I see out of this game. Either this is a bad game or in a bad state either way its just bad at the present moment.
Playing proxy + cannon rush isn’t the only possibility for a Protoss player.
There are other playstyles you could try.
But if you limit yourself to most sick strategies in the game, I am absolutely not surprised you got bored. It actually makes me happy, it gives hope that some of pure cannon-rusher players will change into something more connected to RTS.
If you want to win consistantly its the only strategy that makes since. Why should I do a normal build when a couple cannons can end the game or put me in a signficant lead. dont want me to use it take it out the game. This is ironic coming from a terran player but I dont care.
If I keep going and get the timings right. I am going to make so many terran and zerg players rage. Ive had a few people leave as soon as I put the first pylon down. I will have my own personal salt mine.

How about playing straight up macro games, no cheeses, no gimicks?, looks like every player trying to prove P is easy is relying on the easiest builds and cheeses. It’s like playing terran and only playing 2rax proxy and 2rax stim pushes and saying T is eazy and boring only marines and stim, or playing Z and doing banebust/speedling all in every game.
Seriously, what did you expect?, doing the most brainless strat and having fun and a challenging gameplay?.

Why should I play terran and have to play a standard game every single time or play zerg when I can be toss and proxy or cannon every time and have the option of a standard game. but proxy. cannons are so efficient why should i try something else thats stupid. I am playing the game as it is meant to be played.
Why do you have to work and pay taxes, when you can throw everything, get social flat and drink alcohol all the day for “help” money and live on poverty line funded by society?
Why do you play Starcraft at all? You mentioned enjoying the game. Does winning after placing one pylon allow you to enjoy the game?

Those social options are generally not available to men. And if they were I like the better things in life. lets not equate a game to real life.
so does having someone quit the game because I placed a pylon in their base enjoyable. Depends on what side that you are on. If you dont like being cannon rushed or proxied then stop it.
This is the easiest path to victory in the game and I will do it every single time until I learn the race. More terrans should switch to toss. Well if they want to enjoy the game

The thing about playing protoss is you dont need to actually practice builds. Just make probes nd dont miss your warp ins. If youre facing a zerg all you have to do is not let them take a 4th, PvP you can still do a WoL 4 gate cause protoss players suck at scouting and vs Terran just literally make batteries and do anything you want.

So I can go a month without playing protoss, and still increase my MMR. But this means nothing when garbage protoss players are beating top tier Terran players. You’re nothing but a troll in complete denial.
