Stukov's P1... what if Volatile Infested rounds be worth 15 mins each?

I don’t really use Tanks that much (yeah, I’m an Infested Db player). Now that Infested Marines have been reduced to 15 mins (from 25 minerals each), if Blizzard allowed Infested Marines to be consumed by Tanks, would it be worth paying 15 mins each if you wanted to replenish them quicker? This is due to not having the ICC for his P1 loadout. Infested Troopers from Bunkers are still an option, but I hear those aren’t sufficient for those who really like to rain Volatiles.

Raynor’s Vultures have an ability to create new ones for 15 mins each, although granted, they don’t have to worry about the logistics of getting the mines from some single building, to where the Vultures are actually at. If you absolutely do NOT want to use Infested Marines this way, make it autocast, so you can right click to turn it off

Read the Infested Tank description properly. It says Civilians or Troopers, not Marines.

So no, it doesn’t work

You provide the tanks some ammo with bunkers if you want to use the tanks. But in all honesty, the way you want to play that mastery is probably diamondbacks. Tank and bunker can be great, sure, but pushing with them is a micro nightmare you don’t want to deal with, generally speaking.

The premise of this thread is if this was patched to allow that. Still, I should reword this to make that more clear!

Would be worth it if you could still get a broodling out of it. Without that it’s kinda… Meh? Depends?

Generally, given how much of a nerf to tanks p1 is, and that queen’s don’t recieve the discount I feel like it’s a missed opportunity to promote Stukov mech play. Being shoehorned into mass diamondbacks every game is not as fun as fun as this ptestige could have been.

So yeah, any changes welcome.

Would be great, honestly i’ve been playing with Stukov’s P1 latelly, and it feels really limited to Diamondbacks.

Banshees are terrible and tecnically have their own prestige (P2), Liberators are already insane in few numbers so there is no reason for the discount, Brood Queens are unnafected, and then Siege Tanks have the ammo issue.

Legit, P1 is just to make Diamondbacks more viable. I don’t see “a new playstyle” there at all. If anything helps it get more variety I’m in.

Sadly bqueens aren’t mech so, full price for them.
I would have preferred ibunkers removal instead of icc. Or maybe limiting the number of icivs they spawn.

I think ibanshees need some sort of splash dmg but not a P just for them, I wonder if smb will use it.

Wished Stukov hero was P2 with maybe 150 pop or no ibunkers/icc, something like that.

Edit: btw, how do you break your rocks with P1? I used to do it with icc + inf structure eventually but now? I tried rushing an idb. But heard some ppl spam imarines now that they are cheaper. What’s the best deal in your opinion?

four imarines are the cheapest way to guarantee breaking the main rocks but a diamondback does it faster

4 imarines break the 3 rocks??

you’ll probably need to get two more for each gas rock but if you’re willing to be patient then there you go
