Stop NERFING Commanders

srsly, did I pay 5 bucks for each commanders so I can stress out by trying to perfect my micro&macro game? Hell no, I can already do that on ladder. So stop nerfing commanders that we actually pay for the sole reason of PVE fun and face roll AI enemies, FFS.

Well maybe you pay for that, but others may not, you selfish pumpkin.

Why would Blizzard care about paying customers …

What I meant was, some people who payed for them Commanders did not think in their ignorance that the Commander they purchased will never be changed. Maybe they figured that game developers balance things, and that usually means change. Now, change - I loathe. But I survive it.

Some people paid for an interesting challenge, recognizing that they can vary their level of challenge.

Complaining that a postnerf commander can’t handle Brutal/ Brutal + is like complaining that Casual is too easy for a post Buff commander. (ie that’s the way it’s supposed to be)

There have been such a variety of threads that lately, I’m at a loss for which argument to use.

Brutal is too easy, and all commanders can faceroll it (except for this guy, I guess), so balancing around that is stupid.

Not everybody plays Brutal +6, so balancing around that is stupid.

Not everyone has madpr0l33th4x0rkillz to speedrun, so balancing around toxic coop grandmasters is stupid.

And then it finally dawned on me, and seeing as how I play a few mobile games, I’m surprised I didn’t think of it earlier.

Zeratul was pay to win.

Mengsk was pay to win.

That’s why they got nerfed into utterly useless pieces of trash*. IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW!

*No, no they didn’t.

Just play hard. You can still face roll there, even mass cannon face roll. Hell, you can Karax mass cannon face roll on hard. If you came for an easy time, why are you playing on Brutal? I played the campaigns on Normal, because I wanted to have a fun and easy time with only the occasional challenge. I didn’t play them on Brutal, because I knew that Brutal would be harder than what I wanted. Is this concept really so unique, that only I have thought of it? Obviously not, but it kind of feels like it this week.

you know, nobody wants to play 1000 matches on Easy difficulty when there is a possibility to play 10 matches on Brutal for the same exp. well, maybe when you’ve already finished 1000 mastery.

We could at LEAST get some buffs next time.
Some commanders are still hard up and could use some love on some of their builds.

I agree. They need to stop nerfing commanders.

I mean the patch wasn’t only a nerf, quiet a few commanders got buffs.

Even those some people scream about only getting nerfed.

Sooooo why not just play on easy? Cant you “faceroll” all over the place on there? Sound like it’s exactly what you’re looking for.

Brutal is called BRUTAL, not “ezlala faceroll rofl”

experience percent is low on Easy, thats why everyone complains about nerfs on Brutal. opposite side is why don’t they create normal Brutal+ without mutations but with nerfs included?

Exactly- everyone thinks they deserve the experience gains brutal gives you without having to take on the challenge of brutal. This isnt some braindead mobile game where your progress is measured purely based on time/money spent. You get to a higher level faster by having superior skill to someone with less skill. The people who complain about that just want life to be one long, mindless IV drip of "rofl-faceroll"ing. Forgive us for wanting something just a touch more challenging.

Like brutal+6 maybe?

Brutal+6 is a welcome addition, but the problem with brutal+ generally is that it’s much more based on chance than regular brutal and below. If you happen to pick a commander that the random mutators counter, you’re just kinda screwed.

that’s exactly what i meant - they should fix brutal+ instead of trying to satisfy the bored players by nerfing everything to the ground on all other difficulties. also it would be nice to balance the percent of experience prize between easy/brutal, so more players can move to their favorite difficulties without spending much more time to levelup, leaving brutal and brutal+ only to those who wants to be challenged and nerfed (which means more cooperative gameplay with less noobish players).

You don’t have to play Brutal, you know.

You can stomp Amon all day on hard mode.

And hard mode is no longer limited by that annoying slow gamespeed. So… no more excuses!
