(Stat vs TV) PVT 0-4 = Protoss OP, according to a Terran whiner

When I saw the ShiaLaBeouf’s, the famous terran whiner, post, I though TY lost pretty hard

But in reality, not only its contrary, the protoss got bodied by the terran.

Usually, they hide when terran wins. but this time, they’re blatantly saying Protoss is ****ing op even the Terran just bodied the protoss

I mean will these terran whiners ever stop for a moment?
FOR GOD SAKE
THE GAME IS ALREADY DYING. WE DONT NEED YOUR WORTHLESS OPINION.

and PLEASE I beg you fellows, please FLAG ShiaLaBeouf’s post, PLEASE

It was a pre-emptive thread because people will use this to say protoss isn’t imba and doesn’t need nerf. They do, they are incredibly broken and require fast and heavy nerfs to hotfix the situation.

To hotfix which situation? Yes, you can have negative numbers in math, like -1 or -3, but if you google “real numbers” you would see that they can’t be negative, so in the reality, protoss can’t lose worse than 0-4.

Stats shoudnt even have been there, innovation is far better than him and so is some of the other Zergs that lost in Ro8…

Of cource he shouldn’t be there, every tournament should have 4 terrans in ro4, but even after that you will still whine, just like you did after kings of the battle.

He just wants no Protoss in any tournament past the first round (and that just for justifiying ‘‘balance’’) and mostly terran at the final stages, its easy to see, just the sight of a single protoss at semis is a sign of a broken game.

The Word Protoss triggers and increases his cortisol levels. His hatred is comical. But TY deserved that win though. He was the better player by far in this series. Last time at season 2 I would say Stats deserved the win. I just don’t get the people who spend their time here complaining about useless things or things that have no balance issue like in TvP.

If anything people should criticize PvZ. That matchup is depressing throughout the entire 2020 and the last 2 years.

Yes, at the end of the day that’s what matter, the player who plays better, wins the series, the only bad thing is that this was probably the last GSL for Stats, it was said that previous one was the last, so maybe this will be the real last.I hope Chintoss returns asap.

I wish Benevolence were still here. He’d body bag these whiners. Unfortunately, he left right before the game died, so now we need someone at Blizzard to IP ban the whiners. To make things worse, I’m pretty sure at least half of the forum moderators are TCF, so they won’t be banning any of the whiners permanently.

PvT has been 55%+ for 2 years straight, but once a terran was able to win 4 in a row therefore PvT is balanced? Education is your friend:

Cherry picking, suppressing evidence, or the fallacy of incomplete evidence is the act of pointing to individual cases or data that seem to confirm a particular position while ignoring a significant portion of related and similar cases or data that may contradict that position. Cherry picking may be committed intentionally or unintentionally. This fallacy is a major problem in public debate.[1] The term is based on the perceived process of harvesting fruit, such as cherries. The picker would be expected to only select the ripest and healthiest fruits. An observer who only sees the selected fruit may thus wrongly conclude that most, or even all, of the tree's fruit is in a likewise good condition. This can also give a false impression of the quality of the fruit (since it is only a sample and is not a representative sample). A concept sometimes confused with cherry picking is the idea of gathering only the fruit that is easy to harvest, while ignoring other fruit that is higher up on the tree and thus more difficult to obtain (see low-hanging fruit).

Just here to pile on Shia… PVT literally 50/50 and Terran crushes toss at the top tier. Shia, if you can’t beat toss, LTP.

Terrans: PvT should be 50%, not 55%+.

Forum trolls: TeRrAnS wAnT zErO pRoToSs In AnY ToUrNaMenT

(And behavior like this is how forum trolls killed the greatest rts game of all time)

everything but winning tournaments, it seems.

PVT is moderately terran favored
PVZ is heavily zerg favored

Those are the facts.

Patently false. PvZ win-rates are balanced for 2020. The only win-rate metric that goes above Blizzard’s 5% tolerance is PvT, which favors Protoss (assuming win-rates = balance).

If you are considering past 2 years (January 2019-September 2020), then win-ratio in PvT crossed 2% point difference 6 times out of 21 month periods. (3)

Win-ratio have difference larger than 5% 2 times under 45% in TvZ in November 2019 and over 55% in PvT in the same month. (3)

According to the data Protoss clearly was not dominating for past 2 years, however I agree that the race was slightly favoured.
In November 2019 interesting things happened, but it was rather Terran being in weak spot rather than Protoss being strong (race got rekted by both Protoss and Zerg). It was followed by reasonable balance changes, to I believe, increase chances of Terrans what worked well.

Win-ratio should be around 50%, but it is difficult to achieve. Right now it is in acceptable situation for me.
In the same time Zerg is a bit favoured, but that’s okay.

Also please be more careful in the future, when you use November 2019 PvT situation to support your argumentation, but in the same time you miss/ignore the fact that Terran was approximatly as bad in TvZ as in PvT, you may be doing ‘cherry picking’.
Thanks for trying to discuss, I am afraid some members of forum went beyond fanatism line where an actual discussion is not possible, what decreases respect (I do not know exact word in English) toward their claims, even if those could be right.
Have a nice day!
