Starcraft II 5.0 PTR Patch Notes [for Co-Op]

Chosen prestige talent are showing correctly.
Prestige level counter are fixed as well. That’s far as I know.
But there could be more.

Ah. Alright, thanks.

I hope they put the Hero name and their prestige title in the loading screen. It would be good to know what build they are going for instead of having to ask everytime.
For example, Artanis the Arkship Commandant in the loading screen, so we know there would not be Guardian Shell to save our units.
Or, Zagara the Apex Predator so we know Mass Frenzy would not apply to my units.

It’s visible in-game, another icon (s) where the list of mutators and enemy composition is.

This. You can see your prestige talent and your allies’ prestige talent on the right hand side.

PTR ver. The Prestige Talents must be done in order.
Prestige 1 --> Prestige 2 --> Prestige 3.
I can’t choose the third Prestige to finish first.
Because something Prestige is rubbish to me. It’s a waste of time.
I hope the official version can remove this restriction.

Have just seen this. I have a question if I activate prestige I know I’ll be lvl 1 again (I have max ascension lvl) but after I reach lvl 15 will I get to lvl 1000 again? Or will this be a forever grinding again?

Your Mastery does not reset.

EDIT: I feel I should point out though that, as with any Commander not at level 15, you cannot access your Mastery points for that Commander until level 15 again.

It’s just temporarily locked while you are sub15.

Which is a bad idea, they should have made the mastery unlocked for prestige releveling…would have made it much more interesting. (and there would be less lost.

I’ve got another question. Let’s say you reach prestige 1, and you want to go for P3, when you reach #2 an #3 and in case you want to play again #1 do you AGAIN need to grind since lvl1? or they stay unlocked like mastery points?

Btw I don’t like that some prestiges you are interested in are behind 2 and 3. I’d prefer to reach prestige and choose 1/3. It’s a bit unfair if you are interested in the further prestiges (2-3).

They remain unlocked and you can switch between unlocked prestiges at any time
