The splash I believe is NOT (corrected) present based on my memory. However, it is barely noticeable cuz:
Your Destruction Wave is frequent, and even more so with the refresh mechanisms, so that it overshadows the splash by a lot.
Even if splash is similar to his Bane Blades (ground attack). The ground splash is more prominent cuz the unit size, distance, and spacing in general. While air units do stack, you really have to kite it properly. Then you add in that D-wave, and all that stack kind of goes out the window.
i’m actually 99.9% sure that alarak’s anti-air does NOT get any form of splash damage during empower me. i’ve done tests where i controlled the enemy air units, and stacked them all on one point. only one took damage at a time.
I dont know what version of parasitic bomb Amon vipers use.
At one point parasitic bombs in regular multiplayer did stack but later was reworked to not stack.
Either way amon will spam it like a plague and you are better off skipping air units or keeping them away from battle until vipers die.
I tried to look into the editor about that, but I just got confused.
It could be possible because the healing come from an effect, not from a behavior, but I could not find exactly how the effect come into…effect.
If it had been through a trigger, I would have probably gotten it, but otherwise, if the answer is there somewhere, I missed how to get to it, and I’m curious about it.
It may come from behaviour, There is an option where you set how many time the same ability should stack.
I believe it is called Stat: Maximum Stack Count (That is how I could set same Disintegration behaviour up to 5 times).
I think you can make stacking auras in SC2… it’s just that in most cases, you do not want them to stack.
E.g. Zeratuls Avatar of Essence aura sometimes applies twice, where units have one aura buff with 3 stacks and one with 1 stack. Not sure how its triggered - haven’t make any dedicated tests. I assume it has something to do with the mechanic that units keep the aura buff for up to 15s, even when they are out of range. So leaving and re-entering the aura range could be the trigger. Could be a bug too…
This bug is also used to stack the aura 8+ times with zeratul, making him unlikable. You’re right it’s an effect of going out and in aura range, to do it reliably you spam a void array
