I have the first 2 parts of sc2 but I want to add legacy of the void.
Blizz is selling it for 15 euro I believe but a couple of sites have a key for 10 euro.
Do those keys still work since the game was remade into a free to play model?

When you buy LotV you’ll get the LotV campaign if memory serves me correctly. So it is worth it if you want to get the story experience…which was pretty fun…definitely better than Heart of the Swarm.
But does it matter where I purchase it?
What I am fearing here is this:
I buy a key for LotV from a site outside of blizzard for the old sc2 LoTV and then when I enter it in battle.net I will tell me this key is no longer in use or something of that order.
Or does every version of LoTV just give this new free to play option unlock then?
I’m 95% sure it doesn’t matter where you buy the key from but if you buy outside of Blizzard there is always going to be a small risk of the key being fraudulent. If that’s the case, contact the seller and tell them that the key does not work. They’ll either issue a refund or give you a new key.
You should be fine to just buy LotV. It wouldn’t make sense for Blizzard to make the process convoluted so if you buy LotV, assuming the key is legit, you get the campaign.
All sc2 is f2p these days except for some co-op content and the campaign past certain missions.
thanks man Ive just purchased it for 10.70 or something and it works!
Planning to play the entire story from SC 1 > BW > SC 2 soon so it might be a while until I actually touch this campaign but saving some money was nice.
