I was told by support to report bug. Sc2 engine was always bad since doesn’t support multicore cpus and gpu is bottlenecked. But in hots game run at least 60 min on low. In lotv since patch 4.6 i have fps drops to 19 on 4.1 ghz intel i7, geforce 780, 1600mhz ram, ssd. I installed old hots version 2.0.6 to check and on same rig and settings i have in same situation 50fps min. In 200/200 army vs 200/200. Ling and mass bane vs MMM. In which i get drops under 30 in lotv. This prooves game is broken since some patch. Since 4.6 a lot of people started having problems. I remember since lotv came out performance was okay, but than after some time, everyone started having issues. It is 2019, this game still doesn’t even support multicore cpu… And it is unplayable, if you don’t own geforce 2080, and 5ghz cpu + 3600 mhz high speed ram + You do that on purpose so people have to buy new hardware, or just incompetence. Same problem with devs in csgo, i used to play in on single core on 137fps min. Now i have under 60 on multicore. Devs do that , doesn’t optimize to save them time and that people are forced but more expensive hardware. This game used to run on geforce 8800, which is like 15 years old, or something like that. And nothing changed with graphics. It is exactly same, until you broken the game…
Ye and i tried already everything from tweak guide on one drive and what support told me and nothing had any effect, only disable-hyperthreading helped alot and than switch to 32 a little. Still i have like 37 fps in lategame. Before i had 19fps in same situation and it wasn’t even most demanding situation, like 200/200 ling bane vs MMM.
EDIT: it is possible it was patch 4.0, or both, it started somewhere in 2015/2016, mass complaints about this, of people which never experienced issue in hots and suddenly got low fps on high end pc even 1080 and i7 4ghz e.g…
