The Starcraft II Campaign Collection was just released on Xbox Game Pass for PC. I am always looking for an excuse to replay one of my favorite campaign collections, and I noticed that the game did not launch with Xbox achievements.
Although Starcraft II already has in-game achievements, the xbox achievement community is a niche but enthusiastic community that would love to make the most of PC Game pass by hunting achievements in a PC-exclusive game like Starcraft.
I know earlier this year, the Timesplitters trilogy was added to Playstation along with trophy support a few weeks after release, which caused a small resurgence in popularity in this fondly remembered PS2/Gamecube title. And I’d expect a similar uptick in players if Xbox achievements were added.
Should Xbox Achievements be added to the Game Pass for PC version of Starcraft II? What do you think?

I don’t think they’re making any changes to SC2 with Game Pass. My understanding is that if you are a member, you get StarCraft Remastered and the StarCraft II campaign collection unlocked on you BattleNet account.
I’m fine with the achievements we’ve got. I’m still working my way towards the Dark Voice and Predator portraits.

Makes sense! The in-game achievements we have currently now are no joke! And you’re right although you can launch the games from the Game Pass Xbox app, it still links back to your Battlenet account. Thanks for your reply!
no development you aint getting nothing new.
I’m up to 12710 achievement points of a possible 12920. Nothing left other than grinding Versus wins and Co-op Ascension Levels.
As for whether there will ever be anything new aside from balance changes, maps, and portraits, we might get a better idea of what we may hope for long-term based on whether the leaks about Warcraft 2 and 3 turn out to have any merit in one week. But for achievements, I’ve got plenty of work left to do.

Yes xbox achievements should be added.
I was excited to play the games again and get xbox achievement while i was at it, but when i heard there wasn’t going to be xbox achievements, i didnt bother as i’ve played the games before, and i know there’s others who would play SC1+2 via Games Pass if achievements were added.
It’s just odd an xbox GP game doesn’t have achievements, this doesn’t happen.
(Yes i know most don’t care about achievements, but this doesn’t effect them, but does effect those who do care).
Please remember this when WarCraft 1, 2 and 3 come to Game Pass.
