What I mean by that is: what if you could right-click a hallucinated unit to auto-cast, and have it automatically spawn whenever your sentry enters in combat?
Curious to know if it would see play, how it would be used.
I… guess that could be useful in TvP to spawn some extra cannon fodder if they don’t have ravens with them? But the value of hallucinations as fodder plummets as soon as detection hits the field. And if youre banking on them not having any, youre better off just adding some DTs to your army IMO, since those can at least do damage.
hm i don’t think that will ever beein used in taht way unless you are sure the enemy isn’t watching his own army while you engage otherwise he knows that there are hallucs in play
not to mention the energy drain on them makes that hardly a great choice its like autostorm on enemy, sure the feature is nice to have but manually make dem clouds has the potential of better hits since you can decide not to waste those precious energy on rauders of you can a patch of rines instead
I am sure this would not be used too much since FF and shield are way more important then hallucinations in a fight.
What next? Autocast storms? At least try to do something other than A-move.
We need to stop the autocast syndrome on all things. We already have a select warpgate button, auto gateway-warpgate, auto charge, auto immortal shield, auto interceptor building, auto shield batteries, auto repair… And idk how many more
100% agree ATLgrunge, Just as day9 use to say it, “starcraft first focuses on the real time aspect, then it’s a strategy game secondary. Just as there is a lot of strategy in football, but being physically fit comes first”
