Give the ability to the oracle. Remove the stasis ward. Replace it with the healing ward which heals all shields in a small radius. The Protoss now gets healing wards for free but they can be picked off and killed very easily. Now there’s actually risk to losing your oracles. You also can’t mass them since the oracle has a supply cost unlike the shield battery and you can’t heal during combat like the current shield battery. And it doesn’t stack so the peak healing density will be much lower (encouraging spreading out). Oh and it only works on ground units .

The Zerg now gets defense for free but it can be picked off and killed very easily. Now you cant just move around spines and spore forest all over the map. You can’t mass them because the infester has a supply cost. Oh and they expire .

Y’all are so singular instance minded its mildly infuriating. Protoss gateway units suck AND are more expensive than other t1 / t1.5 units. Shield battery was created because Protoss are incredibly weak in the early game to just dying to all ins, or even if they play super defensively then they are massively behind in tech and/or eco which given that protoss gateway units suck, means that the protoss will lose because they cannot afford the tier 3 units or they havent been able to research the t3 tech they need.
These forums just love to hate protoss without addressing the root issues of protoss. >.<

Chargelots are pretty ok right now, Stalkers are a bit powerfull early game, Adepts - nah… you cannt buff them, cuz they are cheap and can deal too much with little effort, HT and DT arent different either. DTs won more games than every other rush build in the game, and HT is just perfect unit, no matter if its used for def or offense. So again - you cannt buff Gateway units without reworked Warp-In mechanic!

Sarurating allready 3rd base, before Terran has 2nd full, behind 4 Stalkers + 1 Observer but Bateries in every base. And nope man. Even if Toss playing a bit safe, not even Zerg can catch up with Protoss eco boost. Just check allways worker count and resources/m in ZvP.
