Unfortunately sharing how many games you have played has never ever (literally) giving me anything but a chance for people to condescend me.

" 5k games and only gold? lololololol"
“10k games and only dia? uninstall plz”
“15k and master? I´d be gm”

This has been throughout my starcraft carrer. It hasn´t contribute to anything positive.
An option to delete it, get rid of it or hid it plz.
I know a few people that get those messages so I only speak for a few.

AND

About the barcodes. An easy fix is to show mmr at start of match.
I think it would help all players in different ways.

  1. If you vs a barcode you´ll know who is who much better by knowing their mmr.

  2. When you are a gold player and suddently face a diamond player. Motivation fades (maybe you quit) only to see he was offracing and is gold aswell.

  3. If you are a low master player and play a gm but his boarder is master. You played the game of your life only to realise you never had a chance. (happens a lot in master league).

In real tournaments players know who they are vs´ing , mmr difference and what stlye they should play vs them to increase their chance to win.

PS: Could you implement a 10 min penalty for those who leave games before the 1 minute mark? or something? :slight_smile:

Can you explain why people leaving before 1 minute is a concern? I’ve seen other people complain about this too and I don’t understand the problem with getting free ladder points.

It is awesome for the ones that want it, but eventually they given out enough free point for them to get to silver, gold or whatever league they want to be in.

Guess what happens then? They obliterate the players in respective league.
I don´t think it´s fun for them. Would you like to vs a much highly skilled player masking themselfs as a lower ranked player?

AND by chance you say YES for the experience. It´s easy to go to chatrooms and ask if a high ranked player would help you out. Im sure there is plenty of players willing to help.

Unfortunately, its difficult to create a solution to this problem that doesn’t also just allow people to insta-quit their least favorite matchups with no consequence. Maybe give diminishing returns on the MMR change for games that end under 2 minutes or some other cutoff from before cheeses hit? The only other thing I can think of is a leaver queue like in heroes where if you immediately quit enough games in a row, you start to get matched with other people who also do it?

There aren’t a lot of good ways to implement something to stop this that wont catch people who legitimately have to quit, or lose to cheese.

are you entirely out of your mind? if they obliterate the players theyre versing theyd be promoted back to where they were in less than a week, just watch beastyqts series, of course he obliterates his gold opponents even with bad strats but hes in master after like 2 sessions. its also quite alright and an honest chance that you queued the wrong race or you lose by build order which means youd just be wasting the other persons and your time until you eventually lose

GSL already stopped for me when they took it off twitch. Lucky too. Because Fartosis started to be really D-baggy now. Greedy and so on. Better to not hear them.
