I can give you the excuses of the TCF (typhoon etc.): CURE is a beast. One of the best terrans in the world. He deserves to win against serral 3:0.
Really looking forwar to have 4 terrans in the semis in the King of Battles tournament and 3 terrans in the gsl semis.
And still there will be threads about how weak terrans are and how heavily they are on a disadvantage.

Cure revolutionize the meta with a totally new build order and a really strong one.
Serral play the same build order since 4 years and got outplayed by Cure. It’s just that. You can’t a click anymore Zerg, you need to pratice now.

Although I think Cure is overrated and a bit of a ladder hero, his TvZ is very good. His best match up for sure. Still, didnt expect a 3-0. Serral has been slipping a bit though…
And what is that? I dont watch much Cure but not sure what build order you are talking about.
- Game BC snowball → turtles mech. Zerg can´t get ecco, can´t get swarm style. force to t3 army (that not zerg favor). than with thor push we saw a chaos game (favor Terra).
- lost in early game.
mass hellion with 3 base. followed by bio play. - that was nice to watch. even if it hurts as zerg, how mutas are simply deleted by thor and how ultra is currently useless against bio.
but nice of Crue playing down how efficient Terra is against Zerg, despite the 30 workers diff in the late game. in general the number of workers was even if you think of mule.

So you are complaining that someone has perfected his build over a long period of time?
Btw is not correct. Serral extends his build with 2 Base and timing attacks. And he has also adjusted his playstyle with the patches. Since zerg is more mid game, he plays more aggressive.

Seriously though I’m not big into using balance to explain away one of my favorite players losing. Serral hasn’t looked as dominating as I’m used to seeing lately.

How so? 3 of the top 4 players in the world (at least measured by Aligulac) are Zergs.
Check out GSL and king of battles. Serral, Reynor, Rogue, Dark, DRG all got stomped
Ummm I dont watch king of battles but I heard about Cure with Serral.
As far as GSL goes, Rogue and Dark choked mega hard. DRG choked a bit as well IMO. I agree with Artosis that going ling bane muta would have been better over hydra. DRG should go mutas every game because he is just that good with them.
Also I think TY will win this tournament. Again. Him or Trap. Third Stats. PvP is brutal so who knows. If TY can get past Stats I think he pretty golden. Trap’s PvT isnt what it used to be. If the finals is Maru vs. TY, I think TY absolutely mauls Maru sadly.
I have no idea how Armani got into this Ro8. He and Zest are lucky to draw each other. Armani would get crushed by these top Terrans but Zest is probably the best he could have hoped for. He has a chance to advance but wont make it to the finals. So I agree, Zergs are ****ed in this season of GSL.
Yeah it’s probably not a coincidence that every Zerg “choked” after a million nerfs and a worse map pool.
