a bit more dmg on straight big fights- to trade better vs zerg and terran pushes
Colossi buff vs armored + priority to army units
Colossi are terrible vs maredeure and buildings, specialy vespin gases and depots.
Some buff to tempest/carrier or change interaction generel in late game vs zerg
Vs Zerg late game it feels hopeless ( casue of coruppter/parasitig bomp and infestors)
Some nerfs for helping Protoss in big way:
Ghost EMP hitting so often hole Protoss army, then all shields are down. So nerf EMP radius or range. Templars for feedback or many ruptors most of the time not on the field or not in a critical number, if ghosts appear on the battelfield. MBY make build time more plus emp turn down
Bane +2 meele upgrade vs Probes
Well it feels so dump when 1 singel bane hit a worker line and 10 plus workers are dead.
give the oppertuity, to not die to the fifth bane runby. mby make banes more supply or more expansiv.
Raven matrix vs Colossi
completly dump. When u dont have a templar its impossibal to counter a raven push if u have 2 colossi out.
Zealots are among the few Protoss units that don’t need a buff, it is tanky and cost effective, great for runbys in the late game and for damage soaking in the early game. Regardless a 50% more damage buff is insane.
seems like a good idea, might change the roach/stalker meta in ZvP as well.
tempest/carrier was nerfed to the ground late game ZvP for good reason. it creates stalemates, it isn’t a test of skill and it encouraged Protoss to turtle for the entire game.
If the tempest/carrier/HT meta comes back it needs to be because another unit like the Stalker gets a buff that makes it useful in that composition.
I would rather see the damage of EMP nerfed, especially because EMP is the counter to infestor in TvZ, maybe have it halve the shields of all Protoss effected by it.
What Protoss really need is a better form of vision around their bases, Terrans have sensor towers, Zerg have creep, why don’t Protoss have any equivalent?
why are you trying to counter a raven push with Colossi? Ravens counter colossi, if you don’t like that build a counter to the raven.
I can think of nothing worse than giving units a straight damage buff which will help ladder toss far more than it will help the top Protoss. They’re also very boring suggestions. How about instead of just nerfing + 2 banelings, observers are 0 supply. That way a protoss can be rewarded for prioritizing vision and defence.
Instead of a straight up damage buff so that colossus counters armoured units how about we give immortals the ability to manually cast the barrier so they can do their job properly. What if we reduced the cooldown so that Protoss that maintain their immortal counts are rewarded. If that’s not enough what if it adds to the total HP pool as a shield (that doesn’t stack) rather than a temporary barrier.
There’s so many more things you can do that actually are interesting…
I agree. Ladder and qualification are flooded with toss.
To reinforce this with a % dmg buff would be strange.
that’s what a better player can use compared to a worse one.
especially mid to late game → more units, better toss remembers to activate the shield in combat.
make immortals cheaper? make colossi build time quicker? mby make colossi movement speed faster( isntead of changing the dmg)
one cool tought: make it, that observer dont take full space in the robo structure to creat. Mby move observer to a nexus , can build, if a robotic is finished. ( woud denie some probes but give u more vision) vs bane runbys and terran movement

_____here i disagree hard- Zealots +4 dmg is aboulutly fine in the current state of the game. it was +8 dmg in past, then they nerfed it to basicly cero.
How is protoss actually flooding ladder ? Protoss is dominating EU gm thats true but kr and na is Lead by terran. But thats as far as flooded with toss goes. How exactly are they flooding ladder besides that ?
They are 29% on the ladder but Sometimes 34% and 42%?

I know what you are trying to say but its phrased so badly lmao. And what does gm have to do with the Rest of the ladder? GM is Not “the ladder”. The ladder is the ladder. And when looking at the ladder you only See that GM is a Bit overpopulated with protoss. The Rest of the ladder is perfectly fine.

I have already Said a couple of Times that i think by playing protoss book of BS you have a better Chance for gm. I Said a couple of Times i want protoss to be less cheesy and more Solid.
But the difference is Not that high. Na and kr is Lead by terran and only EU is domimated by toss.

You should Adress how protoss is “dominating” the ladder. Because GM is not the ladder. Its a very very small Part of it.
