Scythe of Amon in <8min, Lock and Load in <6min (Brutal) [works for Z T P]

You can level up quickly by playing on Scythe of Amon or Lock and Load.

Scythe of Amon - Abathur and Raynor

You can complete Scythe of Amon in under 8 minutes against all races.

Abathur’s POV: [Scythe of Amon in 8 mins] Abathur + Raynor (Brutal) [Against all races] - YouTube
Raynor’s POV: [Scythe of Amon in 8 mins] Raynor + Abathur (Brutal) [Against all races] - YouTube

Tips:
Every time a sliver dies, the other slivers regen all health AND create more defenders. However, each sliver creates different units as defenders. The further the sliver, the stronger the created defenders. This is why we should kill the furthest slivers first, otherwise if you save them for last, they would have created a lot of strong defenders.

Lock and Load - Abathur and Dehaka

Completion time varies greatly depending on race.
Zerg - 4:30
Protoss - 5:30
Terran - 6:00

FAQ:

  1. Can’t you use Raynor Artanis to beat Lock and Load in 3 minutes?
No. The cheese is fixed, it doesn’t work anymore.

  2. Isn’t the world record 3:58min on Lock and Load with Vorazun Abathur?
Yes, but it requires very good execution and it is very hard to replicate, let alone repeating it for leveling up.

  3. What’s the point of farming levels?
There is no point, I just want the achievements. I’m merely sharing a way to level quickly for those interested.

How come that there are so few defenders around EVERY shards?

Cause the defense mechanic kicks in after you knock down a Shard, and based on the remaining shards locations, is where new defenders pop out (and their strength in correlation to their location).

My dear friend, you should advise the Dehaka & Abathur run on Void Trashing (©2012 [LeDude]Nweeky & [LeDude]ReggieBlåck).

edited the post to clarify how it works

Alright, am I seeing things or is your partner’s name LilAmon? (My vision is not so great and the letters in the video are tiny.)

I think I saw a picture of this dude in concert, rapping “Keyrrigan’s gonna get kicked from my turf, YO!” He was wearing giant gold chains wound around his many tentacles and a special 24-k gold set of sunglasses for all those fallen Xel’naga eyes, and his entire audience was Tal’darim high on terrazine.

Eminem’s “Rap God” is nothing in comparison.

Without watching the video because I’m at work right now, I’m pretty sure it’s LilArron. Potentially equally skilled at rap, but much less Xel’Naga tentacles.

I stand corrected! At least the end of the universe won’t come with a rap video.

I did not know this, thx.

Also, this is nuts, damn.
I’ve been playing Abathur more lately trying to get a better feel for him.
So his brutalisks can burrow to anywhere without sight it seems?

Next time my buddy is on and we get either of these two maps I’m gonna ask to try similar. That Lock 'n Load 4:30 min was insane, gratz.

Slivers have a difficulty level that updates with each kill. They all start at difficulty 1. Kill a sliver and the remainder update to difficulty 2. Kill 4 and the last one is at difficulty 5. Note that NW difficulty 1 is harder than SE difficulty 1, but NW difficulty 5 is way more difficult than SE difficulty 5. Therefore we do not want to assault NW at any higher difficulty levels.

The most important part of the run is to assault the slivers at the lowest difficulty possible.

After the initial biomass sequence, the closest sliver is kept at difficulty level 1 the entire time, by preventing rifts from respawning.

The first sliver assaulted is the west sliver, at difficulty 1. Then immediately afterwards, we assault NW, which is still at difficulty 1, about to update its defenders to difficulty 2, but we don’t give it the chance.

The third sliver at north is assaulted at difficulty 2, before it updates to difficulty 3. The fourth sliver is the one we forced into difficulty 1 since the start and has basically no defenders when assault begins. The final sliver is assaulted at the same time at difficulty 4, and it does not get the chance to update to difficulty 5.

Therefore, you do not fight a single sliver at the “proper” difficulty. This is the (unintended) consequence of having all objectives present from the start. More flexibility means more map abuse.

Didn’t we used to have Artanis and Raynor soloing Lock and Load ages ago for that time as well? But that process was patched but this one seems solid enough that theres no way around it. I’ll poke at one of my officers and try to implement it ourselves. God knows some of us are exp junkies.

i’m going to start calling him that now lmao

I hope he doesn’t mind. I try not to piss people off. But if he doesn’t mind, the more power to you.

At this point we can consider this thread dead, cause ya’ll are beginning to hit a few moral grey areas with that context.

uh… what?

Besides everyone being off topic here I think what he/she means is that your context can be taken a little bit anti-PC, which Blizzard frowns greatly upon. And being black myself, I get it.

Also works with Keri, fly the 1st overlord to the last silver and nydus Keri in. She can clear it. Works from there.

Thanks for the videos and tips! I’ll have to give this a try sometime.
