This never happened until this year. If Blizzard cant deals with this problem, then why did they make Mac version for?
Same problem. Happens to both of my iMacs.
I found a solution. Change graphics API from “metal” to “OpenGL”.
Where can you do this?
Thanks for the details! There may have been some changes made with the API, OpenGL can be changed under Options > Graphics > Rendering API: Metal to OpenGL

I was able to play 3 games last night without issue, well into late game. I’m going to keep playing but I think this might be a workaround until the issues with Metal as a renderer are addressed. I’m ashamed I didn’t try this sooner frankly. I’ll report back asap.
Me too! I’m sorry I didn’t consider possible issues with the Rendering API earlier, since we’ve had this issue with Metal for some of our other games before, but I’m glad to hear there is at least what sounds to be a successful workaround in the mean time.
