Sorry for my bad english.
@UnAntonien.
What FPS you have at menu?
You can show it if you use keycombination STRG+ALT+F
Eventually this helps a little bit:
- close all starcraft 2 and battle net. start taskmanger an kill process of agent.exe and all blizzard …exe process
2.go to your SC22 Data folder. I not know english folder names, i mean so:
(Documents Folder)
C:\Users\ YOUR USER NAME \Documents\StarCraft II
there you find a file
Variables.txt
open it with editor
if you NOT find an entry named “frameratecapGlue”
then write a line called
frameratecapGlue=30
after the line “foliagequality=”
or at an other place in file.
- save file. close editor. start sc2.
now menu (only menu) use 30 fps an cpu is not on max, i hope.
without this, sc2 often or ever use max fps in menu an high cpu.
- if this not works (test with STRG-ALT-F to show fps). close another time all sc2 an blizzard programms / process an put the line witt framerate in all other variable.txt file unter starcraft2 folder accoutns
C:\Users\ User Name \Documents\StarCraft II\Accounts …subdirectorys
If you want lower fps in normal game (at playing time) use
frameratecap=60
