Ive been thinking about this for a while and now I understand why SC has taken a step. this game does not have any competition. And when there is no competition instead of trying to make a better product you simply try gimmicks and if it doesn’t work meh. Sounds like throwing ish at the wall and hoping something sticks.
I am not saying that the game is bad but it is far from perfect. Every balance patch everyone, no matter what race they main always complains about something being changed that no one asked for. On top of that they leave bugs in the game and refuse to balance the game around the game units and how the game should naturally play. Instead they balance the game around how they want certain stages of the game to play out.
Again SC is not a bad game but it leaves a lot to be desired. Wish there was a substitute but RTS games aren’t that popular…
