SC2 Apple Silicon Update

I had a 2012 iMac that ran SC2 wonderfully, I recently updated to the new 2025 Mac mini with the M4 chip and 24gb RAM.

Ive had to lower my graphs setting to “medium” to make the game playable. Ive read this is an issue with SC2 NOT using all the cores of the M4 and I can confirm this because the CPU usage is <10% while I’m playing.

Is Blizzard planing a patch soon or something because this is such a let down. WC3 Reforged runs flawlessly.

no they do not plan to, there is no developement anymore for the game since 2019

starcraft 2 is generally limited to 2 cores so, if you can make 2 cores run starcraft 2 and the rest run background tasks, then your performance should be much better.
