Sc1 Remastered and Sc2 coming to Game Pass on Nov. 5th 2024

It says “Campaign Collection”, which makes it sound like Coop mode is going to be excluded, among other features? But it does have the standard multiplayer.

If we can have more people joining Coop, it’d be nice to increase the player base, which would be first steps towards getting new content (although, we’d still have a long road to go even if that starts off on the right track)

Greetings, commanders! We’re so excited that Game Pass members will soon be joining us in the Korpulu Sector. While the entirety of the original StarCraft and StarCraft II’s multiplayer components are free-to-play, we’re delighted to say that StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft II: Campaign Collection will be available to anyone with a PC Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate subscription from November 5.

That’s just the first paragraph. There’s more, but the rest of it goes into how great Sc is, its impact in the gaming community, how an astronaut went into space with a copy of the game, and Scarlett winning a competition.

I wouldn’t hold my breath. But then again I have been sinking hours into Space Marine 2 PVE mode, which is oddly similar in progression and mechanic-wise to SC2 Coop. They’re even going to add prestiges in a future update too.

Along with Heart of the Swarm, Legacy of the Void, and Nova Covert Ops, the Campaign Collection includes the Swann, Zagara, Vorazun, and Karax co-op commanders. On top of that, StarCraft Remastered gives you Stukov in SC2. So that’s five extra commanders along with the three free ones.
