SC 2 It closed unexpectedly

Hi, I have a Macbook Pro, the Starcraft II stopped working about 3 months ago, every time I try to login, it says “SC II closed unexpectedly”, don’t modify any files, I already tried to reinstall the game, platform, even delete some files by following some support steps, but nothing works, I have the mac version 10.15.5.

Hey, FEAR! For the “StarCraft II quit unexpectedly” error, this is a known issue and the following steps should help with this error.

  1. On Mac Apple menu, go to System Preferences/Sharing
  2. Change Computer Name to something different.
  3. Click on Edit and then Okay.
  4. Close Preferences window.
  5. Test game again.

Let us know if the error persists after the computer rename!

Hi,
I have encountered the same problem. After attempting the steps listed above by @caterpepi, I still had no luck. When I click “reopen” it has another pop up saying the file can’t be found. Please Help.

This worked for me after installing patch 5.09 I was unable to play but doing this worked
