Getting back into a game has never been so hard. Why is there no MMR decay? When i was in high school 10 years ago i played on a very regular basis. I hit plat and for some reason I’m still there. Since then it has been very sporadic game play with no regularity. Could i get back there? Sure. Would it be more enjoyable if I could build myself back up from a lower MMR? Absolutely.
Your best option is probably to create a new account (it’s free now) and go through the 10 first wins of the day to get back into ranked ladder.
So you want all the actual bronzes to have to play with someone that used to be plat? Either way someone is unhappy.
If you played during the time, when diamond was like gm today, then you would really fast get to masters, if you played just during wol, then you are in the right place, because lotv is much faster - more harder.
