As more and more player (like me) get older and have limited time (kids, work, etc.) - our time is to valuable and a digital field in a blizzard-database (MMR) is not really relevant (i dont care anything about MMR or placement or master or whatever) → I cancel every ZvZ Game. Its just boring. Mirror-Matchups are boring. Others cancel all ZvP or ZvT. etc…
This brings my MMR unrealisticly down and games against terran and Protoss are too easy and that destroys their and also my fun.
Therefore: Could you please add a Blacklisting for Races? I dont want to play ZvZ. I just don’t want to. And as I dont care MMR i still will cancel all ZvZ Games and Lower Toss and Terran have to suffer.
theres no development, so no they will not do anything of the sort. the games on life support. were lucky if we get the occasional patch nowadays dude.
So, a new veto system added to the existing service would cause those who don’t want to play a certain race to artificially increase their MMR, so they would face getting smashed. Essentially the opposite of what you don’t like.
Not to mention, it’s my belief that if one wants to compete in SC2, you compete against all three races for your rank.
And like Winter said, SC2 ended developmentt over four years ago.
I dont want to COMPETE. That is my point. I want to enjoy games. And I will go on cancelling mirror games and therefore SMASH all terran and protoss I get in front of me. If thats what you guys want. Okay.
And how would my MMR rise artificially if I only play ZvP and ZvT? You just say that without any prove. I have prove: I cancel ZvZ, my mmr goes lower than in reality. So no. The way it is now is worse for all.
While this post I cancelled 2 zvz and 2 other zergs cancelled before i was able to Omg this is just ridiculoius
You want this change in the competitive mode. So, as I already said, it’s not just about you.
It would also affect others’ play experience. With time, smashing and getting smashed due to inaccurate MMRs would be rampant due to:
By winning more often with the other two match ups. No “proof” is needed, it simply follows.
If Bliz thought match up vetos would improve the experience for all, they could have added it in the ten years SC2 was in development. They didn’t.
Tbh, if you had asked for this in unranked, it would at least make some sence. But again, the game is no longer being developed. If Bliz didn’t do it during SC2’s development, they certainly are not now that it’s retired.
And as for all the matches you’ve quit, I don’t care. The only thing that’s ridiculous is how eager you seem to announce it.
