So… With IT gone and only useful spell when not going Bio nerfed, could we get repair drone instead of Autoturret? Deployable sensor tower or something similar would be nice too.
Anything to make Raven not absolutely useless in TvZ while playing mech.
Remove the Auto-turret and replace it with Repair Drone.
Buffs TvP Mech and removes another “Free unit” spell.
Deleting the auto-turret makes the raven harder to be able to pay for itself in early TvZ, and as a result is that much harder to get this utility unit onto the map in a viable way.
Careful what you ask for.
The Raven sucks anyway, just delete the unit and replace with something else, lol.
You can just decrease the cost of the Raven to 100/150.
Its not meant to be alone. No caster should ever be alone. Im fully willing to sacrifice 11s of decent DPS raven can provide when enemy suprises you enough to drop a turret for either way to not get suprised by a way of temporary sensor tower or sustain for my mech army in case Im under attack by swarming zerg or swarmhosts.
Remember that repairing mech unit can get extremely expansive and takes mining time. Way to do it for free without use of workers is good enough to invest 100/200 on its own. Any other spells would be a nice bonus by that point for me.
