This nonsense has gone on long enough. No need to wait until the yearly redesign patch. Just take it out now, like you shouldve done with 3 rax reaper and AAM right away. Youd have to be blind or beyond biased not to notice tactical jump needs to be addressed.

I just think it needs to be an expensive late game upgrade.
Or just a Upgrade that takes a long time to finish. Just need a good amount of time to get a good defense set up and good scouting.
Unlike other races Terran can use energy for free scouting at any distance and any place on the map instantly. Also them being able to wall off the best of all races dose not help. Cant scout to see their tech.
So you never know when they will be doing a BC rush.

How many times you need me to explain that I hard counter bcs on ladder? I just dont want to have to play the same exact build every game on the off chance its bcs. It gets boring. Also this isnt about me its about tactical jump being HORRIBLE FOR THE GAME. Is that sinking in at all? Or do you need it repeated a fourth time?

idk how i feel about that. Their eirly game turrets tend to take em out. Thats how i lose supply cap and waste 100 resource that i could be investing in queens.
I don’t think it’s a “they didn’t hear you” thing. I think it’s more of an “I think you’re a liar” thing.
I’m not even opposed to ditching Tac Jump, but you have to know how hypocritical it is, so long as you’re going to defend Nydus.

Nerf tactical jump via a myriad of different ways instead of removing it because why use a hammer to solve a problem that a scalpel can achieve?
Or what if we nerf TJ to have a range of 20 or 50? This way it cant jump across the map in a instant?

Terran vs Zerg winrate is exactly 50/50 for the first time in a long time. (Used to favor zerg) If you remove TJ you need to suggest what major buffs terran gets elsewhere. Otherwise all you are doing is whining. Yet again. For the millionth time this week.

That is one possible way to nerf it out of many ways such as: locking it behind an upgrade at the fusion core, tying its cooldown with yamato, making it require vision, making it vulnerable before warping, making it vulnerable after warping, combining two or more of these nerfs or any other possible nerfs that haven’t been conceived of yet.

I think possably the better way to nerf it is change its attack speed from 0.16 to about 0.42, I would like to see how that would play out. Because the unit is tanky and dose crazy dmg eirly game.
I like that idea. Just add the need to research it first, and i would call it balanced.

I would prefer they nerf TJ directly because nerfing it indirectly has already been proven to not work and it will likely cause more harm than good IMO.
Yes, you could combine both of these nerfs to make TJ balanced.

No need I will teach everyone right now, no cost. Why? Because its a gamble. If they arent going bcs you are behind in creep and eco. Ive already gone over this in another thread with batz but here goes anyway:
Pool, hatch, gas
Queen, 1 set of lings to delay cc, ling speed
22 roach warren, overlord
3-4 roaches to delay cc even more and force widow mines instead of hellions
@100gas spire
Spire will finish around same time as bc, make a couple corruptors.
Corruptors will be half done when bc jumps in. BC will have jump on cooldown. Free bc.
Terran now has nothing, go piss on his main or starport.
