It uses MOBA stuff incorporated with RTS and something above it…
gotta look into it but from the getgo it seems ea is willing to repeat the CnC4 disaster due to changed game mechanics while pandering to a total diffferent audience, failing in the eyes of longtime fans while the lackluster game doesn’t live up to expectations
quick google search later
found nothing beside fanwishes … so yeah imo CnC is dead since the colossal disappiontment off CnC4 for the fans anyway and those mobile thingies are a disgrace of that great franchise
CnC series was dead when EA bought Westoodstudio and then killed it. Everything after Red Alert 2 isnt even worth being called A Strategy game but pure action/scifi nonsense that lead its downfall.
gotta agree here even though i liked TibWars ReadAlert3 was a total different beast though o.O
RA 3 wasn’t too bad. The balance was pretty bad though. But damn was Natasha hot. But RA 2 Yuri’s Revenge was better.
For me the very last true C&C game is C&C 3 Tiberium Wars and Kane’s Wrath. After theses, it is a chain of mediocre (Red Alert 3) to utterly bad games (C&C 4 and the mobile game C&C Rivals), I consider them betrayals to the franchise, especially the latter two.
For these series, I still prefer to play Red Alert 2 + its extension over the rest, so much fun with it, I also include mods like Mental Omega or C&C Reloaded.
Westwood my fave before Blizzard. I still feel like making games inspired from their time.
Yes true, EA are ugh… maybe they can make it a mobile game like one im playing - it is a strategy RPG with endless $$$ packs pay to win pay to get a drop pay to speed everything while alllowing bully systems of type GM vs bronze matches
problem i had with RA3 was the choice of comic-style for units and structures which wasn’t not pleasent to watch coming from TibWars, the videos itself were hillarious, without them i think RA3 would just look incredible silly … though the Red Alert timeline itself was already madness and i get the whole alternative history and stuff but yeah the artstyle was a bad choice
