Another year, another attempt to report this bug. I’ve been reporting this bug for 14 years since beta 
sc2 reconnect function doesn’t work and never did. If I have disconnected from my provider (non static ip) for even one second I get “Attempting to Reconnect” window that stays forever until I press “Surrender”.
I wouldnt just blanket the issue as it doesn’t work never has. Most of the time it works for both me for and the other player in the game. It happened once yesterday to me and it recovered. So no, it hasnt been broken this whole time. It’s something to do with your system or ISP.
my provider doesn’t gib static ip so my suspicion is wen I disconnect and come back with different ip, the game for some reason doesn’t reconnect me. personally, reconnect function never worked for me. i know the issue is not in my system, i’v changed my system, client and provider many times in 14 years, so it’s not my side.
