yes, you’re right, marauder isn’t 2x anymore, my bad.
It literally doesn’t matter, that’s how the game works. Units with 2 attack animations can lose an animation if you’re bad at the game. Suck it up.
Cancelling the attack on a colossus means it doesn’t finish hitting everything, meaning it does 0 damage to units in the middle of its attack. Far worse than what you lose mis-microing your 1 reaper in the beginning of the game.
I don’t give a flying frack what race you play, I’m judging you because you’re wrong and acting like you’re right.
I play Random on EU and play 1 game of Zerg every season on NA for the profile banner.
I thought it was the sex, drugs and rock 'n roll. But hey, if you take pleasure in belittling the unstable, more power to you. I get not having the patience for certain brands of nonsense though.
No dude and I repeat 3th time. There is a difference between 2 attacks when one land after another and two attacks when they land at the same time. In the second case the second attack CAN’T be canceled and the attack after attack currently affects only Terran units and melee zealots which doesn’t count. Thanks to you instead of “reaper” we also found some more Terran units like Thors and banshees. Can you read?
You can repeat your wrongness as many times as you like, it doesn’t matter.
This affects all 3 races.
I already carefully explained in terms a 7 yo would understand that animation cycles include 2 attack animations and that intentionally interrupting that cycle with a move command cancels the second attack (and even the first if you’re fast enough). This isn’t a balance issue, it’s literally how the game is designed, it is intentional, it isn’t costing you games, l2p.
Seriously, did you smoke crack or did you mother do that while she was pregnant with you?
Ok, I see you know you are wrong and just because you don’t know how to admit to your mistake you starting insults to change the course of the thread a bit. So I guess it’s my last reply to you in this thread because I’m not interesting in calling names. I just want to fix the bugs and the zerg “balance”.
I wouldn’t call you names if you weren’t a complete idiot who is incapable of admitting they can’t understand basic logic. I explained to you multiple ways and in simple terms why 2 attack units work the way they do, why it’s not related to balance, and how to avoid the issue. It’s not my fault that you have less intelligence than elementary school children I have tutored.
But hey, enjoy losing.
Enjoy blaming it on crap that isn’t causing you to lose.
Enjoy not improving because you can’t take responsibility for your own inputs.
Enjoy being 100% wrong on this matter and being unable to be educated.
Easy: Because I hate entrenched ignorance. You showed me wrong, I admitted I made a mistake about my understanding on a unit mechanic.
I proved you misunderstood how you’re supposed to micro units with 2 attacks in a single animation cycle, you reposted the argument I just disproved 4 times and acted like you won.
I’m a dick to you for the same reason I don’t play chess with a chicken. No matter how well I do, you’re just going to knock over pieces, crap on the board, and strut around like you won.
At any rate, I’m done. I’m going to a haircut appt and you’re boring me with your repetitive nature.
The delay between the first shot and second shot is random, so the faster you stutter step, the more of the shots will very randomly roll a delay longer than the time the reaper waited.
Typical Forum Zergs, TBH. For every Habits, or Vich, there 15 or 20 Ace or Batz. They’re an absolute plague. And here I thought we Terrans were whiny. It’s not even close.
And you’re right.
You two wanna NOT absolutely derail the thread and totally bury any semblance of constructive criticism? That’d be cool.
Reaper is in a weird spot, especially considering how many harass options terran has out so quickly. Maybe have an upgrade for reapers giving them their anti-structure attack back, since that’s something marine drops, banshees, liberators, and hellions all struggle with in a pinch. Lock it behind factory or something. It would be a dedicated tech/base/gas sniper in the mid game, which, while it sounds pretty dumb, would give it a niche
Maybe the grenade could be sticky. If it lands on unit it sticks until explode. It might have an use as it forces apm to separate the unit to not give a entire ball some CC.
