I would throw money at this idea. I bought most of the war chests when they came out, but skipped a couple of the early ones for T and Z because I was broke and only cared about P. Now I’m on the fence about buying the remining skins a la carte, but I’m not sure I care enough to get them.

I missed all the War Chests with the Sprays and Decals I wanted (the ones related to the Dominion Special Forces), ’cause I started playing the Game just near the end of 2019. If they, by any chance, were to return, I’d not only get them, but also those related to Primals and Purifiers (if they ever release Building Skins for those), as they are my favorite factions of Zerg and Protoss respectively.

Purifier building skins would be welcomed with open arms by most people, I think. Primal ones for zerg would be cool too. I was also browsing through the sprays etc. at one point and saw some from the missing war chests that I liked. We definitely agree on this.
Seems unlikely that anything new like that will be released at this point, but you never know.

Writing today because the Thread has reached 19.000 Views! Just one big step more, and we’ll reach 20.000.
I know, once more, that the Game is, definitely, not going through the best of times, and even less considering a Thread I recently read from Leviathan (Microsoft/ATVI Consolidation), but it’d be pointless to just give up on this Thread at this point, considering what it has achieved so far. We just have to keep going and hope for the best, but prepare for the worst, just in case.
Again, thank you so much for your support and interest, and let’s see what comes up in the future.

Glad to see this thread is still around. I don’t know what is in store for the game, but I sincerely think sc2 will continue to survive as it always has.

The main thing are the skins… no new skins very hard to warrant a buy for a few decals…

I wonder if AI Art could make new skins, and AI Voices could make new Casters?
If so, then the individual prices could be lowered while the amount of content would skyrocket.
Could actually revive dead games with this, would it work for SC2?
Sorry, but I really wouldn’t ever want to advocate for that. Screw AI art. Besides that, that also means literally anyone could take the art and use them for their own purposes since they’re not subject to copyright.
Which is a good thing anyway since AI art uses stolen art in the first place. Can’t copyright what has been stolen.

Besides, the thing here is that skin are supposed to all look alike enough so that you can still recognize which unit it is. This may be more appropriate for AI…well future AI compared to the ones I know that don’t have the I part of AI yet.

First of all, I should apologize. I noticed the Thread had already reached 20.000 Views some Days ago, but I was unable to Reply, since I was busy with Studies and Exams, but ended them all yesterday.
Well, It seems we did it… We reached 20.000 Views. Again, and despite the current State of the Game, I believe I should thank you all for your Interest and Support to this Thread. Even if it took a few Months to hit the 20.000 Views Mark, that Number alone means something. Being honest, I have not been keen on the Franchise in the past few Months, at all, but I feel good knowing that, despite almost 4 Years have passed, the Thread is still alive. Again, Thank you so much for your Interest and Support.
Well, I believe that’s it for now. Next Goal, 21.000 Views .

I, personally, haven’t done anything StarCraft-related recently, but I like the check, from time to time, this Thread, to see how’s it doing.
