I already have a life, I’m not the one making whine thread after whine thread about TvP completely diluting anything you say.
That’s the common theme with all of these threads in case you have not noticed.
I make whine threads because the current balance isnt balanced at all.
And i will keep making whine threads untill people realise the actuall hard truth. That Terrans are dominating protosses after EMP upgrade.
I have literally stated what i meant;
Ghost counter Storm.
Viking counter Collosi.
Liberator Counter disruptor.
marauder counter Stalker.
What can protoss still make?
The reall problem with all this focus going to Z Nydus+SH
Is its going to leave T uncontested and keep there precious EMP. Covering up how there race is extremely imbalanced in PvT.
By QQing about the biggest “already dealt with in patches” imbalance called nydus+sh.
Don’t worry in 6-12 months, Terran will figure this out and start using it consistently. Then you have “I told you so” rights.
Well, if this stays for such a long period. I will probably uninstall way before.
Collosi need there ability to counter ghost back. Collosi need to be made stronger.
I mean if you are looking for advice, I would recommend not clumping you templar, so you can get more storms off, also a good move is to keep templar in a wp, then unload and storm. Also, use the fact that toss can expand a lot, and quicker. I mean I shouldn’t need to say that if you are not professional mmr level, you are not losing because of balance.
They absolutely do but right now, Protoss still have options. Personally, I rush charge every game and end up in a SG+Chargelot composition for a sick timing with constantly chrono’d upgrades. Have to hit them before they get into EMP+a respectable army and keep the pressure there.
Why doesn’t win rates and tournament performance support your argument that Protoss should get buffed because of TvP?
That’s too much micro from the average Protoss. They have never learned to split even in ZVP against banelings and TvP against EMP’s and mines.
Because pros are slow to adapt. Look how long it took them to figure out stuff like Archon drops and Nydus…they were always good but pros decided to be stubborn and not use them.
I think you are forgetting how expensive ghost are, and how much bio actually costs. People assume it’s very cheap, but I can assure you it is not when you have to add in vikings and medivacs and mines and tanks and generally on less bases than toss.
Bio isn’t expensive. You can literally have 4 reactor rax or 2 reactor and 2 tech lab rax constantly pumping out MM on 1 base.
Adding in both Medivacs and Liberators gets tricky. You can only do one or the other realistically until you end up with 4 gas.
Adding tanks and mines on top of that is still doable on 2 base with good macro.
So the question here is what would you cut to get 3 or 4 Ghosts for EMP blankets? Because it’s entirely doable.
marines really are not that good, especially against toss units. I prefer to, and get much better results with heavy rauder, which cost quite a bit, but have more longevity.
Oh, I agree. One of my favorite strategies is to go for a fast stim+concussive shell+combat shield push on 2 reactor 2 tech lab rax. It just shreds but it does stretch your minerals thin.
If you did that on 2 bases though, you could easily get a few Ghosts. You don;t need a lot of them since their goal is simply to EMP blanket and run away.
Except they do show exacly that. How pros are literally all rushing 1/1 3 base mass zealot.
Avoiding later game or tech that gets hard countered.
I think they are doing that because it is strong, not because they feel weak, also I have seen plenty of blink openers. I think you are making assumptions again.
Pro’s rush that anyways because it holds off Terran all-ins better.
Blink openers? you realise all those chargelot allins ARE opened with 3g blink right?
Any pro who gets to a later stage has lost so far. Literally 90% of them.
