Since Neeb’s 3rd WSC win in September 2017 Protoss has won :
x2 GSL Super Tournaments (Classic).
Asus Rog Tournament (Stats).
Prize Pool of all these tournaments together is like 100k max!
Meanwhile Terran has won 8 out of 12 GSL in LOTV. Culminating with the 2nd TvT finals and 3 Terrans in the Semis of GSL Season 1.
Zerg Meanwhile has won Every Blizzcon in Lotv ( minus Byun), most of IEM (with terran winning the rest) and Every WSC.
It’s not only Maru and it’s not only Serral.
I do not understand where is the Protoss domination everyone is talking about?
Why doesn’t Blizzard STRAIGHT UP buff Protoss? But instead they give super baterry, super mega 9 m distance band aid gimmicky buffs.
After Nerfing EVERY EVERY protoss unit in the last 8 Patches, and after changing the recall so much that people forget how it operates, why doesn’t the Balance team BUFF THE PROTOSS RACE STRAIGHT UP?

You can’t magically give Protoss players skill, and buffing Protoss to the point where bad Protosses would win with bad play is not something you want to do.

Why is it that when your precious zerg players win its because they are just on another planet of skill, but when other races lag its because those players suck?

What would you say they are doing to Terrans then? And what you suggest they do to Protoss?
Protoss got straight up heavy nerfs, some with no compensation at all. They realy need to give something back, I realy hate depending on Disruptors.

I think what he is saying is that the race is designed in a way that the “good” protoss players cannot perform that much better than the “bad” protoss players, so if you buff the race then everyone will win.
I and some other protoss players have quit partly because of the lack of representation of our race at the highest level.
Its boring seeing ZvZ nonstop.

That doesn’t make sense. So protoss is uniquely designed to the point where all the players are the same. When you buff thors is there all of a sudden a massive gap between good and bad terran players?
Not exactly the same, but yes. A good terran player will perform 10x better than a bad terran player, a good protoss may only perform 1.5x better than a bad protoss.
They shouldve rehauled warpgame back when lotv launched, and the blizzard does dumb stuff like force autocast on stasis ward.
Protoss is literally winning everything right now. Just look at the current stats on aligulac. PvT is heavily skewed in protoss favour (53%). But then you want even more buffs???

How so ? The thing is Aligulac enters low GM games. At premier tournaments all the data point towards protoss being absolute trash.

Really, go look at liquipedia premier tournaments I see 1 protoss finalist and 0 tosses winning at 2020. Its crystal clear man.

Velitey is pretty unreasonable when it comes to anything other than Zerg. But he does not complain as much as some Terran parrots do here. Making a whine post about how blink stalkers are OP and with their profound knowledge say that Protoss is OP and not even caring to look at premier results. That sort of ignorance is disgusting imo.

protoss is just punching bag race, ten years in a row now. any large changes they would make have already been considered and rejected, mainly because Terran clearly is and always has been blizzard’s favorite race

Yeah, it’s kinda a joke now to be honest. No one seriously thinks Protoss will win anything either. Even guys like Parting and Stats can’t do it, and they are as good as anyone else in the pro scene.
It’s a funny coincidence that Trap, sOs and Dear have not had much success lately. Turns out nerfing Protoss had an effect after all.

Yet Protoss players dominate the RO16 in almost every tournament and GM. The race is not weak.
