Protoss players ARE just smarter.... A statistical analysis

Many people wonder why there is such a high percentage of Protoss players on all three servers. Could this be due to an imbalance at the lower GM level? Bad design?

Here I will present evidence for the hypothesis, that yes, protoss are just a bit smarter than their low IQ terran and zerg counters.

Fact 1: I am a protoss.

I play protoss, and my IQ is nearing 170.

Fact 2: Peekachi’s IQ is hovering near room temp

I have ran the analysis and his IQ is somewhere in the neighborhood of 45 - 64

Fact 3: The average toss IQ is 60% higher

This has been computed with a confidence of 5.3 sigma. This means it is right with a factor of .004%

I legit think protoss players are 5-10 IQ lower than T/Z. There is a reason there are so many protoss trolls running around who can’t even read a simple graph. Example:

Watch the video you linked then look at this graph once again. Don’t reply to me again until you have read this graph and fully understand it. I am not going to argue a topic you clearly do not understand. Find the APM chart. Find the 100 apm line and trace it with your finger to the low end of masters league. Can you do that? Is reading graphs too difficult for the PPP?

Unless WinterSC matches or exceeds his MMR with 1/4 of his normal APM, he has not met this challenge and has in fact confirmed it. He gave himself more APM than allowed, and still didn’t match his normal MMR. His MMR is smack dab in the region of MMR that 100 apm players tend to be in. His results confirms this data

TLDR: The guy was convinced Winter’s “Low APM” challenge was proof that the above data was wrong, when in reality he just couldn’t read graphs.
